Hmmmmm. Yes but it was a long time ago. Pink Floyd. And to say that it transcended time and space is an understatement.

Never been to a concert like that, but just listening to the Moody Blues on CD does that for me.

Oh, Wait, Holy Spirit really moving at a Newsboys concert. Was fantastic.

Cream, circa 1968. I had the distinct impression that Eric Clapton had transcended the yin-yang polarities. But then again, I was probably stoned. They walked the stage like gods, and played as if One. Ginger Baker stormed off the stage during his drum solo and came back 10 minutes later and picked up on the drums where he left off. Clapton soloed on "Sunshine of your Love" for 20 minutes. Jack Bruce sang, "I'm so glad, I'm so glad, I'm glad I'm glad I'm glad."

Sigur Ros... There was a moment where they ceased in the middle of a song for TEN WHOLE SECONDS!!! and there wasn't even a single sound, not ONE SOUND, from the audience.... it was perfection I've never experienced at any symphony or opera... the places where you might expect such a thing...
