It has also been said we have lost our morals, and that we are more like dogs getting up with fleas and passing them on like it's a norm. Like in language, with all the curse words. I know we can convey messages without cursing right? But it is a down feeling and that is very brutal and certainly not uplifting for vocabulary or spirituality as well. It also has been stated that the permiscuity has been so rampid that the love and romance is being tossed aside for just the thrill, with the Viagra and condoms there is no reason to worry about pregnancies, (birth control medicines) so they can just go to bed with anyone and move on like rubber dummies? What is your take on all of this?

No offense taken but it is not been in America till the last 25 years, the decadence of Europe and Asia etc., has been far worse and tragic and it has creeped its way in to America from the old World's. Russia has sex in the street for people wanting to be exhibitionists and it is legal? What is that about? How sick is that? To turn others on? To what end?
I wont look at two dogs let along two humans?

Your not going to believe this in my country( Kuwait ) before the gulf war every one held on to his morals especially that we are mostly Muslim's in the region after what happened every thing changed, we believe in sex after marriage in Islam but apparently most of my friends don't !, every body was friendly, but now every one thinks about his own and personal advantage from the person that he knows, no body makes relations with any other person just to be friends and have a good time, its either about the girls or the car that he owns or if he is rich and from a well know family which could help him in some matters about finding a good job at a company or any thing like that. the world had changed so much these past years things i wouldn't imagine seeing these days in a Muslim country is happening ! so what would u think would happen in a few years time !!

Morals are supposed to change with time and progress comes change. Curse words? Ha-ha what a loser really curse words? Sorry. Any word can be deemed a curse word. Curse words are a colorful way to express oneself so is any other form of alternative communication. When you stop someone from cursing you are destroying freedom this is one of my main quirks with religion.

Sex is fun so do it if you want. Don't complain because there is better security in having sex nowadays. People had sex just as much a 1000 years ago. Back then they spread disease and caused overpopulation. Now we have gained intelligence and we know we can enjoy ourselves sexually without the fear of disease if we are smart and use protection.

You are catholic aren’t you? You fit all the stereotypes of one.

I agree that some have abandon their morals. But I see a positive change in a lot of our youth. Some are celibate until a much older age and I am seeing more Young people attending church than in years past. There is a whole world of "young" christian music that wasn't there before. You may not remember the "free love 60's", but that was much worse than the young of today. That is just my view.

Even though we are warned about the problems (or evils) associated with money and sex, money and sex are two of the most important things in our lives. Its very complex. We must have money to pay our bills and (for the majority) we must engage in sex (such as a married or devoted couple) to be physiologically happy. Romance is important. It is something, when cultivated, can continue to bring a couples relationship or love for each other, back--time and time again; a form of continued renewal---I honestly believe that...and social psychologists continually write about this. I do think that when people have countless meaningless relationships/interactions with people...on an intimate level, that have no deeper meaning...or development of love--they truly miss out. People have to be true to themselves...and to their partners (no bullsh*t), such as their desires to explore new things (to a limited extent--to the agreement of both people involved). I think that people tend to be happier if they realize that relationships, when cultivated by both, are important. I think the Big G wants us to believe this.

That's not everyone. A lot of people still have morals and care about the little things in life. I believe that the media plays a huge factor in your statement. But how you were raised probably plays a larger role, because if you were raised to not be affect by outside influences, then you wouldn't fall into that box.

Thats a certain lifestyle, and while the number of people who do that may be going up, so is the number of christain families with way too many morals.

I think we should all be hippies.
Celebrities used to make it seem like that crazy lifestyle was glamerious, but now it seems gross and messy. I think movies put a huge importance on "love" and "finding the one" and although people might sleep around a bit (whats so wrong with that, if theyre protected? It feels good. If your bible says its wrong, then don't do it, but you shouldn't try and control other people who don't agree with your thinking) they usually settle down.

So very sad, but so true. I am a born again Christian and it makes me sick to see what has become of the world. If everyone would just put their lives in God's hands and trust Him, the world might be a better place.

Yeah, read 2 Tim chapter 3. People are becoming more self centered and selfish because there is more and more confusion as to what is right. No one wants to search out what is right. They are lazier than before because there are to many things occupying there minds. We have more and more things invented to make life more pleasurable and persuading us from thinking and using our brains. Some people actually have others think for them. It is terrible what mankind has and is becoming but you can not stop the Divine plan. It is written!
