Ive got something to ponder on. Lets call religion X to be the most right religion in the world. Why is that, that only a group of ppl in this world are borned under that religion? Is God being unfair? Then ppl of the religion X may claim that God is trying to test the rest. The rest has to pass the test by believing in that religion X. Why is this God of religion X so unfair? Given, everyone are equal during birth(unless you believe in karma, which most religions don't), its really unfair when some ppl alone are given the straight ticket to go heaven at birth itself. About converting to the religion X: If ppl of this religion X claim their God to be the truest, it is this God of religion X that wanted me to be an aethist or believer of another religion, so who are these mere humans, believers of religion X to change their own God's will? Think bout it, come with a conclusion...Does God exist? If he does, you think he gives a damn bout religions created down in mother earth?Thx.Nesh

All religions try to explain the unknowns about the world and our existence. It doesn't matter which religion you begin or end with. The only thing that matters is what kind of character you have developed at the end of your life.

I think God does exist and that he allows religions to exist as a stepping stone for mankind's inner growth and transformation. The presence of many different religions and conflicting ideas, forces us to choose between truth/lies and right/wrong. Religions help people to discover their true identities.

If God spoke directly to humans and told each of us what he wants, then most people would do it simply because God said so and because you want stuff from him. But if you can decide to do the things that God likes without him asking for it, then God knows that you are like him and he can trust you. Also, if you don't want to disappoint or displease God and you try your best to find out what he likes and do it, then you respect and fear God and he will trust you.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

These are some of the questions I have pondered myself which have lead me to conclude two possibilities. The first is that all religions are right and there is an extend pantheon or one god with many extensions.

I choose to believe that it is too arrogant to assume there is no higher power, but ultimately we human beings are too dim to grasp any true concept of deity. Religions have far too many things in common with mind control tactics, and it is my belief that religions were created to explain away uncertain phenomena and use it to control masses, particularly in times of hardship. I accept the possibility of enlightened individuals who have existed throughout history, perhaps Elijah, Jesus, Buddha and Mohhamed were some of these individuals. It is my belief, albeit cynical, that any such enlightened message is ultimately intercepted and manipulated by those in power in order to control the masses. Over time, religions past into tradition and carried into the modern day and age, and they are continued to be pursued mostly out of social obligation or fear of the unknown.

What matters at the end of the day is what faith do you have. Does it matter more to have faith in (a) god(s/dess), or is it enough to have faith in people. Sometimes we forget about our own inner power and strength, even though it's right in front of us.

All religions have been around for years, We all are going to believe what we do no matter who agrees with it or not. We all have our own reasons for why we believe what we do. It's up to everyone to accept that. Also it's what you do and how you follow it that makes an impression on people who don't understand why you believe what you do. As long as no one is forcing their beliefs on others, and others aren't basing us for what believe that possibly life would be more easier, and less controversial. I believe and God and have my whole life, it's only what I can say from my point if view, and I can't force that on anyone else. They would have to want to know him for themselves. Just like Muslims, Hindu, Athiest, etc believe what they want.

If you seek the truth with your whole heart it will be revealed to you.

It is about a relationship with God. Not a relationship with a specific Religion. I have little faith in Religion and total faith in God.

To bring us in a closer relationship with God, and teach us how to live in harmony with our brothers and sisters.

Unfortunately many religions fail miserably.
