What is greed? Is it just a religious term invented by religious people?

What if no one desired wealth, or to phrase it in religious-speak, what if no one was "greedy"? Would we still be banana loving furballs?

According to Janet Berres and others, your first Tarot deck should have been received as a gift. Am I following this notion if I purchased one with a gift certificate someone gave me?

I've read other peoples answers to questions and wonder where they get their info from. Why is it so hard to say that America is primarily a Christian nation? Most polls show 80% claim to be Christian. Now I know that doesn't mean they "act" like it but wouldn't that mean the US is primarily Christian?

People tend to respond by saying...separation of church and state but that's not usually what's being asked. FYI, most founding fathers were Christians of some denomination and those that weren't believed religion was needed for it's morals. (such as Benjamin Franklin) Thomas Jefferson went to church inside the White House. Where's the separation?

Anyways, I'm not asking if you agree with Christians or a certain denomination but why do people freak out when someone says the US is primarily Christian?

Im aware that a Luciferian can technically be called a Satanist, but "Satanism" and "Luciferianism" are different beliefs. Maybe someone who is more knowledgable on these beliefs can help me.

What are some main differences between Atheistic Luciferianism and Atheistic Satanism? Such as, a main difference between Judaism and Christianity is that Jews dont believe was the messiah.

Im asking for knowledgable people only to answer, if you dont know what Luciferianism or Satanism is, please, shut up and keep your ignorance to yourself.

Anytime I answer a question about Muslims and oppose what they say, I am reported. Does Muslims here have a plan to get rid of all Christians who don't agree with them? Are the Yahoo Police part of the Muslim Scheme?

I was raised Catholic until I was 14, when I voluntarily renounced to all religions for many discrepancies between my beliefs and religions in general. I believe in God. Now my sister wants me to be her daughter's godmother. I believe this is very important but I don't know where to start. My other niece is christened catholic.

for the record this question is purely out of curiousity, is not meant to "trap" you or be disrespectful in any way.

with that being said my question is, how do you feel about sex changes? do you think this relates to homosexuality if u change your gender and have intercourse with that of your original gender? how do the dress codes apply? do you dress as your original gender or your new? are there any verses u can give me to prove your standpoint? i ask this cause i have never seen this question come up, however ive seen homosexuality and dress code and other lifestyle questions come up frequently. so tell me what you think.

(btw: if you say "its wrong" or "its ok" id appreciate some kind of explanation to back it up) ty

After all, do you think that most of the people who are supposedly destined for hell deserve to burn for all eternity in fire and brimstone. Sure, certain people, such as Hitler or Jack the Ripper, for example, might deserve this, but do you think that atheists and other non-Christians deserve to burn? Also, why should God care if anyone believes in Him or worships Him? After all, He IS God, so He knows he exists. Also, He is supposed to be the one perfect being, but do you think that a perfect being would be so narcissistic as to condemn anyone who doesn't supplicate to Him?

I was thinking about religions and wondering which one I should be in but then I thought to myself that seems like the followers of a religion worship it...God is not Christian, Islam, Jewish, Satanist and whatever religion there is. God is who we are supposed to worship, not religion. All the religions claim that their way is the only way and if you don't follow it you'll go to hell, so in a sense they're acting like God right?

This world would be a lot nicer if we just worshipped God and not religion...

I keep hearing people state that no one follows OT anymore and that it was done away with when Jesus showed up. That being the case, why is it still included in the book? Isn't that just asking for confusion?

We're supposed to love and help one another. True we believe what they do is sin but aren't we supposed to help rather than shun? How does that show God's love? God has called all to come to him. Jesus hung out with prostitutes and tax collectors. I mean, aren't we supposed to be a light in the world? How can we be a light when we hide behind the doors of a church building?
