I keep hearing how the prophesies in the Bible are being fulfilled but I don't know of a single one myself. I'd appreciate an example, including the Biblical reference, a quotation if possible, and the event which you think represents the fulfilment of that prophesy. PROPHESIES FULFILLED WITHIN THE BIBLE DON'T COUNT IN TERMS OF WHAT I'M ASKING. I know there are many of these - that the Messiah would be born of a virgin (even though the Hebrew in Isiah doesn't tranlate to "virgin"...). A prophesy "fulfilled" in the same book the prophesy is in is no more reliable than a plot twist in a novel. Surely there is some example of a major event - the split between the Roman Church and Protestantism, for example, or the reformation of Israel, or World War II, or 9/11 - that can be identified as a scriptural prophesy. I'd be very grateful for all answers.

Without God there is no reason to refrain from killing people whenever you want. Agreed? Of course we agree on that. It's common sense. I have a list of people I would start on if I lost my faith. How about you?

Are they real? Do they really tell the truth about things and maybe about you? Because, It's somewhat difficult to believe that kind of stuff.

Without God there is no morality, so why not just do what you want? Are they just really good at doing it without getting caught? I know atheists are really sneaky. That's why they wear a lot of black. It's scary!

Fear and unbelief come from guilt. And the more one ridicules
and defies, the more guilty they feel.

God is omniscient. He knows all from the beginning of time until the end. Therefore he knows if you are getting into "heaven" or "hell" already.

Doesn't this irk you?

This means living your life is worthless because your future is already set by God, and was well before you were conceived. So technically, you have no control over your life, and your life will be lead the way God already planned it. So if you go to heaven, or hell, it was Gods choice eon's ago, and cannot be changed; no matter how you live today, tommorrow, or next year.

Your thoughts please? How does that make you feel? Any counter-arguments?

Does God use evil for good? That is, does God make evil men think what they do, and that what they are doing is working by their evil, when in fact it is God forcing them to act evil, to bring about a great change and make people realize that nothing changes unless it needs to be changed?

Agg! This goes against how I've been raised. It breaks one f the 10 commandments and one of the verses from Romans in the bible, but it feels as though it is built in me and I've been praying praying praying to have God "fix" me! Yeah, you must know where I'm going with this...I have this inner office crush I can't have and it affects my behavior whenever I'm around this person. I can't even look (him/her) in the eye! I try to talk to (him/her) but sometimes there's something inside I can't help...(He/She) often mentions (his/her) spouse when I do something that reminds (him/her) of (his/her) spouse, so I can' t figure out if (he/she) knows....Give me any hints that (he/she) might know. Like, what body language or verbal language am I to expect?...And I'd appreciate any advice you might have in this situation! Why was I born this way?

Where's the equality?....and heritage doesn't matter as long as you have the same faith...If you look at Islam, you'll never find a mosque for only blacks or only whites. Equality is stressed in Islam, whether you're rich or poor, black or white, healthy or handicapped, it doesn't matter. Muslims are muslims and that's that. If you walk into any mosque in the world, there's never any segregation, whites, blacks, hispanics, chinese, you name it all share the same mosque. Why can't churches be this way as well?

Ok, so why, when I say to a muslim "Happy Christmas" they reply "but I'm Muslim"

But if a muslim says to me "Selamat Id-Al Fitr" I reply "Thank you, same to you" - because I respect their beliefs?

But thank for your over-senisitivity tho, you have just proved my point.

Besides that it is believing something to a great extent, including emotionally, without any evidence or even with evidence contradicting it, what is faith? I was once a Christian, and when I look at it rationally now, that is all faith was.
