If you are a true born again Christian that believes Jesus Christ is Lord, and you are doing what the Bible says you should do. Then God hears your prayers each time you pray. Better yet God knows our heart and our inter most thoughts. You asked how long and how to pray? Depends of what or who, if I'm praying for a person to be saved, I never quit until that person is saved or dies. Now I don't mean I pray all day long, but at least once a day, or in my prayers before I go to bed. We are Gods children, so as a child of God I prefer to call God, "Father". So I pray something like this,'Father please forgive anything I've done wrong today, thank you for loving me and please save my friend --------, and so on. God wants us to talk to him as we would our best friend, which he is. Hope I helped.

For the how long quetion : God said to pray continuiosly (1 Thessalonians 5:17 - pray continually;) that doesn't mean to always be on your knees, but just be mindful of God
For the how question: be thankful and be sure to ask for now only what you want , but what is best for you
I don't know all the answers but the Bible does.

I personally don't think it's HOW LONG but how much you pray and how much you really mean it. For instance a Christian saying a really long prayer because they think that just because it's long it means something versus another christian saying a short 10 minute prayer and putting all their heart and thoughts into it. After all God is the one that's going to be judging you in the end.

The Word of God says that man ought always to pray and not faint. But to answer you question, I will sum it up in one word---PUSH.
P-Pray
U-Until
S-Something
H-Happens
That is pray until something happens. In the Word of God there is a story of a woman who came to an unjust judge to get him to avenge her of someone who had wronged her. She came to him continuously. Finally, the judge ordered that she receive her judgment because he said that she was worrying him(for lack of actual words but it means the same). It goes on to say that if an unjust judge felt that way and he did not fear God. Then how much more would our Father in Heaven answer us when we go to Him. (and because He loves us, we won't have to go to Him nearly that long.) You should pray a heartfelt prayer. God already knows what you need before you ask Him. So do you think you will fool Him if you pray to Him any other way than from your heart? May God Bless

Pray daily. Keep a song within your heart all day. God answers all prayers in His time. Sometimes we have thank Him for the ones that are unanswered because He knows better than we do what it is we need before we ever ask, Ask for His will and not yours to be done.

Matthew 23:14
"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you devour widows' houses, even while for a pretense you make long prayers; therefore you shall receive greater condemnation."
It's really not the length of the prayer God is concerned with, but the attitude of your heart.
Personally, but without Scriptural support, I would say pray your heart empty.

You should pray however your heart tells you to. God doesn't keep a record of how long and how often everyone prays. Just do what you feel is right for you.

hi Farooq i'm uncertain i'm getting your question. yet I take it which you're asking how Jesus and the father must be one individual maximum remarkable? right this is the element Farooq, the Christian God replaced into by no skill defined as one individual interior the bible. The Christian God consists of of three personalities. this is the son, the father and the holy-spirit. undergo in concepts, on John's first financial ruin, the bible states that the be conscious that created each little thing interior the international became flesh and lived with adult men. This very be conscious replaced into Jesus Christ. As to why he died in the international, you need to discover that as your very own own project. John 10:30 "I and the father are one" This verse would not inform you that he's the father. we could say you utilize an identical sentence once you describe your courting with your spouse working example. 'You and your spouse are one'. might you're taking an identical sentence and say that it skill you're a female? of course no longer. His description of oneness on John 10:30 shows how he's heavily yoked to his father. They have been intimate. Jesus of course noted how he replaced into in basic terms like his father. What his father did, so did he. this is located on John 5:19 As for why Jesus prayed, Farooq no person underestimates your intelligence, while you're intimate with somebody it would contain consistent interaction. Jesus replaced into in consistent verbal substitute along with his father. by skill of how, it relatively is in basic terms so magnificent Prochaine have been given maximum of votes with this style of distorted view of scripture. This in basic terms confirms that he like many others at the instant are not basically lazy to study their bibles yet in addition very lazy to respond with their own words. lack of expertise is such bliss.
