Hello I am from Iraq and am a asylum seeker to Britain.

It has come to my attention that Britain celebrates the birth of Christ on the 25th of December and I find this deeply offensive to my sensibilities

How can we remove this christian festival from the calender so I dont get offended.

Why do the British do these things to upset us?

I don't know how many of you have read Ezekiel Chapter 1 and 10 but it describes Gods throne as a flying disc or "wheel". I believe that this is one of the places where people at that time developed the idea that Angels have wings because they had nothing to compare it to other than a bird or a horseless chariot or even a whirl wind. That being said I do not believe God or Angels are extraterrestrials. God created the Universe so all things to him are terrestrial, for all things are his. Just wanted to hear others opinnion on this subject.

Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

God bless

And why do you think that those who were Holy and in their graves were raised to life, at the exact moment JESUS GAVE UP HIS Spirit???... if JESUS was just a man or a prophet?
And why do you think the Centurion and those who were with him, guarding Jesus, when they saw and felt the great Earthquake and saw all these things happen WERE TERRIFIED??? And why do you think they EXCLAIMED, SURELY HE WAS THE SON of GOD, if He was just a man, or a prophet?
Well this may be more than just one Question, but it only cost me 5 points...lol
And as a Believer I ask for your benefit, not my own.
The noon day sun was blackened/ the day turned to night...there was a great storm, a tempest.
A great Earthquake shook the land, and, though my Bible says THE CURTAIN of the TEMPLE was torn, I thought the whole Temple was split.
Maybe it is a metaphor, the CURTAIN was TORN...The people were divided???
So you think HE was just a man and all these were just made up lies?
Or are you a believer?

"The fact is I am guilty of sexual immorality. And I take responsibility for the entire problem," Haggard wrote. "I am a deceiver and a liar. There's a part of my life that is so repulsive and dark..."

The next time you hear about women being punished in third world east, or crazy clerics promising nuclear destruction, just remember there are spiritual leaders in America who ADMIT they are liars and perverted and PEOPLE STILL FOLLOW THEM!!

I know when God shuts a door he opens a window but lately in my life i havent had any windows opening at all. Just when I think my turn around is coming life seems to get worse. I try to be thankful for the things I have but now I'm afraid God might take those away from me too because of so much that has happened so far. Is God mad at me? Is he going to keep me in my situation till i run out of air or in the end will he knock a wall down? I feel like im slowly losing my faith

I've been a very very bad bad boy. I've been hurting Allah at all times. I've friends who are mostly non-Muslims, I occasionally booze, I also relish pork, I also sometimes make love to my girlfriend, I don't sport a beard, I also condenm Osama, etc.,etc.......... But now I want to repent.

So, which is the best (and easiest) way to please Allah? Coz, after I die I wanna be with HIM forever..................

I'm interested on the views of Christians, Muslims, Jews, etc on whether someone can be a devout religious person while in a same sex relationship. Is it really a huge problem if they go against one rule in the Bible when so many other religious people do the same with sex outside of marriage/for pleasure?

But a) if converting is only saying two lines, how can i tell if I mean them? b) What if later in my life I take a genuine look at all religions and decided to join a different one? - will I endanger my life by leaving Islam? c) I am not married so will that mean I have to marry a Muslim? These are all important questions and I don't know if accepting the money in exchange for a few sentences is hitch-free.

I got this in reply to a question about helping the homeless:

"Being saved is first with me, then I'll worry about the other."

So if you had a hungry person and a bowl of soup, would you give them the soup, or make them accept your religion first? That's rather how that one came across...
