Our relationship with GOD is mostly a boot camp for life everlasting. Your needs will be supplied and if you run out of food and shelter let GOD know and there will be churches there that will help or if you cant find help there, e-mail me and I will see what we can do here in Georgia. This is not sarcasm. Jesus was born in a manger, he was homeless yet he ultimately will own the world. He was tortured, ridiculed, spit on and killed by wealthy and powerful worldly people in order to take our punishment for us. Here is the bottom line. If you live under a bridge, Praise GOD for your bridge! If you live in a mega house on a mega hill, Praise GOD for your mega house. If you want worldly things then by all means ask GOD. Be careful though, the things you have may be gifts from GOD also.
May GOD richly bless you.

Actually, no, not everything happens for a reason. Things have a CAUSE, but that is not the same thing. The absolute lack of pattern in human behaviour - there is no predicatable outcome as to the fortunes of a good man compared to those of a bad man - should make it apparent that what happens to us is largely random, or our own responsibility. It takes maturity to confront that truth, but once it's done, you'll be stronger. Your faith is doing you no good at all by the sounds of things. Find another way.

God isn't mad at you. However, the devil wants to make you miserable. It's not easy, but take strength in the fact that this too will pass, and that God is right there with you. You don't have to go through this alone, ask God for his help. He will help you. Sometimes we have difficult times because God wants to bring you closer to him, and other times it's just the consequences of our choices. Hard to know which this is, but either way the best thing to do is talk to God and listen for His answer.

No, everything does not happen for a reason and God does not "give" or "take away". That is a very dangerous way to think. I used to think that way. Sometimes things just happen.
For my siblings, everything in their life, has gone "right", no matter what I did, everything went wrong. And it still continues too.
And just this weekend, my bf's car broke down, I was going to pick him up, take him to get his parent's extra car so he could make it to work. A deer jumped out of the woods and crashed into my car. He was late getting to work, my car is smashed. His job wants "proof" that his car broke down!!! Did I do something wrong? No. God didn't "make" that deer jump out in front of me.
I thought for years, that God was "punishing" me for something, I was convinced that He hated me. I searched my mind, racked my brain, going over and over every little thing I could have "done" so I could "fix" it. And all the while, seeing people who do others wrong, day after day, get ahead in the world.
I urge you to get the book "When Bad Things Happen To Good People" by Harold S. Kushner
It helped me.

I know how you feel. I've been there, many times. Everyone goes through what you're going through.
When your faith is tested, you can grow stronger than ever. That's what happened to me.
I'll pray for you.
Remember 1 Corinthians 10:13:
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
God IS faithful. He won't let you go beyond reach.

I believe we are all here with the ability to use free will. Bad things happen, but I don't think God causes them. However, I do believe he is there to give you the strength to get through those bad times. Don't give up and lose your faith, things will turn around and you'll feel better. I have been through unbelievably hard times and kept plugging away until life got better - so will yours. My prayers are with you.

You can't loose your faith now. This the point in your life, when you need him the most...This has happened to me, more times than I can count in my lifetime....God also said he will not give you more than you can handle...I know your saying "how much more do I have to take"? Its seems like there is no way out right now, but the end is in sight. Please have faith, and pray for your problems to end. God Bless You.

Yes. The ways of God are unscrurtable but there is plan for sure.
Every dark cloud has silver lining. And remember difficult question are asked only those who are worthy.I too have lost many times but so0mething unknown happens are faih rekindles. We have a habit of remebering only small troubles and forgetting large blessings of God.We take pride in good things happening to us and blame God for things which we consider bad for us.Gita says "hanhayatma Vinashyati" those who doubt , die.Do not loose faith. And " mamek sharanam mum" - bow down to me and come to me in your difficult times.

As much as it might be tempting to believe that there is a god, it is not so. Things happen to you because of chance and the actions of other people. There is no intelligence testing, rewarding or punishing you by the things that happen in your life.

One of two things is happening. 1. Your being tested or what we call stretched out. This will strengthen you in the end. 2. God has locked you in your room for you to think about something ( about you ) the way your thinking, an attitude, the way you treat others, so that you may see it and pray that it be changed. Then actively go for that change!
