I don't know how many of you have read Ezekiel Chapter 1 and 10 but it describes Gods throne as a flying disc or "wheel". I believe that this is one of the places where people at that time developed the idea that Angels have wings because they had nothing to compare it to other than a bird or a horseless chariot or even a whirl wind. That being said I do not believe God or Angels are extraterrestrials. God created the Universe so all things to him are terrestrial, for all things are his. Just wanted to hear others opinnion on this subject.

Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Isaiah 6
1In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

2Above it stood the seraphims(angels): each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

Angel Wings

I believe some of them do...but for purposes of helping people in times of need, they can manifest themselves as either human or animal, or not be seen physically at all, but Spiritually...That, of course, brings up another questionable subject; which is IF they exist at all...Some will deny their existence,... too bad! I have had personal experiences with Angels on several occasions, and know they exist for us. I never saw wings, but I felt their presence.

That is exactly what I'm talking about..wmf936.Thats why I know for sure that God sends them to us...

No. And although not every one has had the experience. You might have. Maybe a flt tire on a deserted road and a stranger come along for some reason. Analogy. Some times you are in dire straits and some one unknown to you comes along with the help you need and before, or by design, you didn't even get their name and they are gone. Are you sure they were not an Angle!!

The exekiel account you mention is of course symbolic

Anyway, the Bible says cherubs has wings.
Of course they don't need the wings for any physical reason, for they are spirits.

When angels materialize and take human form, they don't have their wings. They look like men to the point they can even eat like a man.

2Ch 3:11 And the wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits long: one wing of five cubits touched the wall of the house; and the other wing of five cubits touched the wing of the other cherub.
2Ch 3:12 And the wing of the other cherub of five cubits touched the wall of the house; and the other wing was five cubits joining the wing of the other cherub.
2Ch 3:13 The wings of these cherubim spread forth were twenty cubits; and they stood on their feet, and their faces were toward the house.

Hi, interesting in a song yesterday He said my Heart (Love) is a wheel let me roll it to you//

We all have wings (1st answerer is right) but some of us don't know why.. I think we are the fallen angels// At least I am as He refers to me as fallen angel all the time..

Oh the angels (not past tense please do...and they do).. I see them as lights, have not seen wings, but they do and so will your Light Body..

Love

Take these broken wings and learn to fly again learnto be so free...

I dont think they do to be honest, In Genesis God says lets make them (humans) like us, and i think he was talking to his angels. So if we dont have wings they can't either darn it lol. But thats just my idea

No. I believe angels don't exist or have wings. To say more, would be inviting false violation reports from religious people.
