If Hinduism had to be buried down the earth, it would have been so during the Mughal Campaign. Though both Christianity and Islam overturned everything that happened to be on their way, they failed miserably in India because Hinduism wasn't standing on some false and magnified dogmas just to betray itself. Hinduism can never die because:
1.Vasudaika Kudumbakam. Only Hinduism or its offshoots can accept the whole world and its multitudes one family. Though the caste division in Hinduism had taken an ugly turn and the same had caused many to leave Hinduism, it considers all human being irrespective of their religion, caste, creed, language or any other distinctive features as ONE. You may be a king, but it doesn't guarentee your easy entry into eternity unless you deserve it by virtue of your deeds. You may be from the lowest strata of the society and ignorent, irrelevant and unknown. But these things never negate your way to moksha, because your karma decides what you would be.
2. It teaches us that our salvation/moksha entirely depends on our own deeds/karma. Rituals are there in Hinduism, but even without baptism or circumscission you can enter eternity. You needn't perform any rituals or you needn't register yourself in any local temple to make an easy way to Heaven.
3.Hinuism never discourages you to think, nor it will eliminate you and your clan for thinking and presenting your dicoveries. Charvaka, the great atheist, was equal to any other great Hindus like Swami Vivekananda !
4.Alexander's Empire vanished, Roman Empire is in history, Christianity is dying, American Imperialism will disappear tomarrow and Islam will be totally wiped out day after tomarrow. But Hinduism is here to stay.

Not likely. This sounded more likely during the times of Muslim rulers who invaded India and resulted in huge increases in Muslim population. Though these were severe blows to Hinduism, it has survived just fine. The only options for Hindus to vanish are: (1) convert to other religions, or (2) get destroyed. As of now, it does not look like Hindus converting to some other religions is any threat. Nor would the present geo-political dynamics permit complete destruction of any religion. But what about a 100 or 200 years later ? No clue; anything can happen.

Hello Prakash, that is a very good question, well the muslim population in the world stands second only to christianity and has only a little difference between these two religions while hinduism is in the fourth largest section and has only 800million.This doesn't mean that the Hindu religion will be buried or burnt for that matter it is not a cause of worry.Because of the following reasons:
1) The religion Hinduism is the oldest religion that still exists and had existed along with the then thriving religions and cultures of the world in fact it existed even before them that is when their ancestors where hanging from the trees we had a ruling class kings and queens and poets and scholars as even according to Europe's version which always less as they want no contradiction to Bible's theory of how everything began and when the great floods happened as the indus valley civilization predates it. it was around 2000-3000 yrs before Jesus christ that is 5000.A 1000 more than egypt's civilization that we means ours is the oldest.
2)The other religions had forced their way into focus in the indian context only in the mid 1300's.But even under the harshness and cruelty of the muslim and British rulers imposing their own religions and many yes many had been converted to islam or christianity but still people where there who resisted.
3)Remember during those times having too many children was considered a liability though they did have many but tried not to but that wasn't the case with the Hindus who multiplied like viruses 8* faster than those converted and people born in other religions and also people born into their religions.
4)according to estimates people who died in the wars in pakistan and afghanistan and iraq is more than the people born and the real enemy is the west moreover the religions are getting equalised and no cause of worry.

a million.Hindus are relatively peace loving human beings and are non-violant in nature. 2. Muslims breed like pigs. 3.they're very orthodox and staunch follower of islam this is a violent faith. 4. they could homicide their own mom, father, brother and sisters for worldly and non secular benefit. historic past of Moghul dynasty is the example. 5. the religion this is accompanied via muslims is stuffed with cruelty and that they attempt to transform those with violence basically reducing the foreskin of penis(cruel and violent) is the backside of their attractiveness. which provides a permanant mark on their manhood. which they could no longer exchange by using out the existence.this is why they could no longer exchange their own faith and that they attempt to take the revenge from others violently. 6. Hindus foresee the destiny if such cruel and violent faith human beings will outnumber different peace loving religious human beings interior the worldwide via breeding like pigs and rats, then what is going to take place to the mankind ??????

Hinduism is a faith it is the oldest, vast, broad based &deep rooted. Is has stood the test of time& withstood countless invasions by the uncivilised& Barbaric people.( who used to jump from trees to trees when undevided India was at its peak of civilisation).Hinduism does not have fanatism& extremism in it's folds. It accepts all & sundry ,it is rich ,vibrant ,nourishing & has no place for small sighted/myopic people. It is like the Big elephant which walks past graciously on the roadside & is oblivious of the barking dogs. Most of the good religious &spiritual teachings in the world have emanated from Hinduism mainly because it is based on truth, love, non violence and pure knowledge professed by wise people &philianthropist. It has only to give graciously, it does NOT believe in conversion. There is no dogmatism and rigidity .Only negative aspect was castism which is fast dissappearing.Women are highly respected & female Gods/deities are worshipped as Shakti. So worry not ,watch &see.
