This question is called Pascal's wager. Pascal was a famous mathematician, and also a good Christian philosopher. This question should never be the basis of someone accepting Christianity. One's relationship with Christ should not be "what-if insurance." However, this question certainly has enough validity to take a close and careful look at Christianity before dismissing it.

The Bible sais that 'we are all appointed once to die, then the Judgement'. But before that happens there's Armogeddin....no, it's not a huge meteor hurling down at us from space. The Bible calls it 'the battle of Armogeddon'. There will be a great battle here on earth...blood and fire and vapour of smoke...the elements will melt with fervent heat and the earth and the works therein shall be burned up....nuklear warefare my friend, with a touch of the Master thrown in for good measure. I guess that could be deemed 'suffering and pain'. The rightious shall be taken up to meet the Lord in the air at the start of all this....don't ask me how that'll happen. That's yet to be seen.

Suppose doctors told you that you MAY have a deadly infection that would kill you in a couple of days but then you heard someone had a cure for it. This cure consisted of taking one pill that was very expensive for the inventor of it to make but he would not sell you it, he would only give it to you at no cost to you. Your friends and relatives may tell you to watch out...nothing that good can be that easy. There are no side effects to this pill but if you do not take it, you will die if you have this infection.

I ask you, what would you have to lose by taking this pill? If you did not have this infection, there would be no harm done. If you did, you would live.

Salvation is like that...the pill that will cure you is the Gospel.

If there is nothing after this life, I have lost nothing. If there is and I did not trust Jesus for salvation....I have lost everything.

The system of universal justice created by Allah demands that the doers of good be rewarded and doers of evil be punished. Since this system of justice can not be truely implemented in this world, therefore the existence of the hereafter is a must. In the life hereafter, doers of evil will meet their destiny (hell fire) even though they were able to get away with all evil they did in their physical life in this world. On the other hand, doers of good will be rewarded even though they gained no rewards in the physical life of this world.

I hope that it answers your questions.

The word of God clearly states .
Jesus Christ said" in my fathers house are many mansions if it were not so I would have told you .
I go to prepare a place for you and I will come again and receive you again unto myself that where I may be you will be also.
Revelation21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall no longer be anymore death ,there shall no longer be any mourning.or crying,or pain, the first things have passed away!!.
Take care !

Believers have won. If we made the right decision to believe, we're rewarded; if our decision meant nothing, then we won't know, will we?

For the unbelievers, their choices will either bring punishment or nothingness.

Peace.

This is Pascal's wager. It's been refuted easily many times. Look it up.

Tell him to cling to his delusions if he wants to-no honest person ever went to "hell" no matter what they believed and no one who was immersed in religious dogma ever set foot in "heaven".

I don't think we will have these bodies after our death so I think it would be impossible for anyone to say for a certainty what we will feel after judgement.
