John17:4 I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.

tHIS WAS SAID BEFORE THE CRUCIFICTION .Now if part of his mission was to die for our sins then why did he already proclaimed that his work was COMPLETED?

This may sound a funny question but is really a puzzling one.

Krishna had a beloved named "Rukmini" who married to him and became is very loved wife.
Rukmini's father and brothers were against the marriage.
So Krishna the king of Dvarka hatched a plan to flee her from the palace. He sent a message to Rukmini and she willingly and happily acknowledged to comply.

So as arranged before, Krishna with his chariot went to meet Rukmini (in all secrecy of course) when she was going to a temple along with only her maids.
Seeking Krishna she was happy. She climbed his chariot and asked him "Would you drive me to the feedom that I seek in your kingdom ?"
Krishna said : "yes and no" i will take you to my kingdom which you so desire and since we love each other so much but please drive my chariot.

He gave the reins of his chariot in her hands.

They were successful in fleeing away together to the safety of the kingdom Dvarka where they got married and lived happily ever after.

When we walk in the light we are protected by the blood of Jesus (1 John1:7).
God has translated us from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. (Coll 1:13). The only way we can lose the protection of the blood of Jesus is when we sin and walk back into the kingdom of darkness into the devil's territory. What do you say?

The guy I am dating is extremely into Christianty. I believe in a God, but not in Jesus. He has asked me about it a couple times, I think it may bother him. For you Christians, is this a real problem? I am a caring, giving, loving person (in all honesty, more than he is).

i come from a muslim country. In the papers today it mentioned that few muslims were interested in being baptized, but now the police is ready to take action against these people. Its so sad when people who really found the truth and wants to accept Jesus and the devil is pulling them away.
Dont muslims have the right to accept any religion that they find is the truth? Why are they being forced to accept something that they do not believe in? Only Jesus can help them...

In my Father's house there are many mansions....And that he(Jesus) is gona go prepare a place for his followers. (Can't remember the chapter).

So if there are many mansions that means that Jesus is not the only way to heaven, right?

Hopefully this is a simple question that can be answered by a true person of faith. If god really created the earth, and wrote the Bible, then why was it modified to create the "New Testament"? If GOD really wrote it, why would he want anyone to change it?

Today's paper reported that a sms has been sent saying that few muslims are going to be baptized and the police is ready for action. I am just curious, why cant they choose wat religion they are free of. Why is that they are being FORCED to accept a religion that they do not believe...I feel religion is something u do not force people, you are suppose to accept it with your whole heart. Just asking...

Maybe this will be seen as a silly question, but I want to know what christians think about this. I'm an atheist, and I argue against religion at times, especially here. But I don't hate christians, or anyone else for that matter. I try not to hate at all. I try to criticize the ideas, not the people. Although I'm sure I get carried away at times. What do you think about the way atheists talk about christians?

"Ye must come as a little child" etc. God admires the "blind faith" of children.

But I can't be the only person who is a little bothered. What *human* parent wants their offspring to remain "childlike" forever. A person who remains childlike in outlook is "mentally handicapped" and it isn't a state that parents wish for their children. Why does god?

Dare I ask, if YOU were god, would you want your offspring to be eternally childlike, or would you want them to grow up enough to think and question?

i've got a friend who can see spirits and she tells me there's this spirit in me that doesn't come out, absorbs my life energy but also helps me in a way because it wants to practice to become a better spirit.

i don't know how true this is but she said i can invite this spirit out of my body and sent it away if i want so my health wouldn't be slightly weakened by it.

the thing is, it is an intelligent spirit and helps me sometimes. wonder if there is anyone out there with enough knowledge to tell me what are the pros and cons of keeping it or sending it away. i also wonder if it is mutual to my decisions and do what ever i want or will dislike something that i like. I really hate it if it does happens. thanks.

This is a 16th century theory held by modern initarians. It says that Christ is simply a martyr to truth which shoud inspire others to moral struggle and victory;the only obstacle to god's pardon is man's lack of repentance. Also it ignores the power of the gospel to transform me.Whats your view on this?

Could god create a universe where free will exists AND does not contain suffering of the life forms within it?

From the definition, nothing is impossible with the god of christianity and because such a universe IS possible, then it would be MORE perfect than THIS universe.

Why does god appear to create a less perfect world?

It's the same prayer over and over, do you think God is listening when you pray it? And do you consider the Hail Mary or Apostle's Creed a prayer? Aren't those prayers just took their concept from the bible?
