WE DON'T !!!

2006-11-05 19:38:42 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 4

We dont. We can trust the New Testament of our Bible however because the authors were literate to the degree of reading and writing -they used scribes, this is true, but they also could recheck what was written by the scribes. Muhammad could not varify anything his scribes wrote.

U can call it a miracle.Allah had make Muhammd(pbuh) to memorise everything n then Sahaba wrote that all, but This is not about humans who were to write down the quran , It was Allah who has to send his words to us n He did it thorugh His porphet Muhammad (pbuh)....This was all Allah's blessing, n' Just curious" has veyr good point..that peoples who object Muhammed being illiterate n worte down the Quran etc, why dont they think that if he was illiterate how come he knew soo many things which can even be applied for today's world n proven scentificaly, this is why it make a sense that Quran is Allah's world n not human written Book.

I must reply you thıs wıth a proove:Once Mohammad asked how dıd you wrıte thıs word what He spelled.Because there ıs two ways to wrıte thıs word ın Arabıc wrıtıng.They (scrıbes)dıd ıt the easy way but Mohammad saıd to delete thıs and use the other type of wrıtıng.Now ın the Muslım countrıes you fınd whole Korans use same wrıtıngs just one word.It ıs (S)ın englısh.But nobody know why He saıd to use (S) here ın dıffıcult type.An Islam proff.from South Afrıca checked Koran for very long tıme and he found many ınterestıng poınts and one of them ıs 19 ıs a mathematıc fıgure number of Koran. After proff.counted thıs
word he saw that ıt needs one more (S)word to reach to the result of 19x6=114 (thıs ıs for example now ı am not sure)but ı am sure for the cheapters of Koran114 and ıt ıs 19x6 and when you start readıng Koran wrıtten ın Arabıc (Bısmullahırrahmanerrahım) but there ıs one sure named Taube
(means repentace)there ıs no Bısmıllahırrahmanırrahım because
of the meanıngs of thıs word that Allah ıs forgıver, tender etc.but thıs sure contaıns threats, gettıng ın hell etc for unbelıevers therefore whıle readıng thıs sure Taube we dont use Bısmıllahırrahmanırrahım.So ıt ıs 113 because one ıs mıssıng
but ın another sure ınsıde you can see wrıtten one more Bısm.
to reach to 114.

Angel Gabriel came to him and told the saying of God to him. Then he told his fellow men (Scribes) and the one who were literate wrote those verses. Its Gods promise to his own book (Quran) that this book will be saved exactly like it was reveled at that era. Not even a single comma or full stop has been added or deleted from that time.

They probably didn't write EVERYthing he said. Unless specifically told to "write my words" scribes work pretty much the same as we do today when we take notes. We jot down general ideas and concepts, numbers, statistics etc

Prophet Muhammad PBUH was illiterate & even then he has said so much scientifically authentic theories...

How?

It is that he was a real messenger of GOD (ALLAH) who conveyed HIS orders throught the angels....

Otherwise how come an illiterate man gives out the very logical & best banking system(which is quite technical, & sofisticated )

Yes Islam has its own Islamic Banking System which forbids the interest system.

well Muslims followed this true messenger of GOD (ALLAH) & noted down what ever he said that came upon him from GOD.....

So thats why we, muslims, have complete book like no others has....
The Holy Quran....!
The truest book of all....!
The authentic of all....!
most comprehensive of all...!

the Qur’an was not compiled into a single book in the Prophet’s time; but the verses were scrupulously written down and passages were recited, not only during prayer, but also on other occasions. Muslims were taught that the recitation and the contemplation of the Qur’anic verses were acts of piety, worthy of great reward. For this reason, the companions of the Prophet were eager to learn the verses, which fact was to a great extent responsible for the safeguarding the Qur’an in the hearts of the people.
God gives here a guarantee that the collection and the promulgation of the Holy Qur’an are assured. It has been recorded that the Prophet, who received the divine revelation, not only dictated them to his companions, but learned them by heart. Besides, the Prophet took all measures to see that the companions also learned them by heart.
Zaid ibn Thabit was the chief scribe, who used to record down the revelation, dictated by the Prophet. After the Prophet’s time, in the battle of Yamama, a large number of the huffaz (those who had memorized the Qur’an) died. Then Abu Bakar appointed Zaid to collect all the available written versions of the Qur’an and to bring out a master copy. Since he had been the chief scribe of the Prophet, he was the most suited person for that job.

When he completed this work, he gave the collection of written materials to Abu Bakar, which he kept with him till his death. After his death, Omar, the second khalifah, finally gave it to his daughter Hafsa – one of the prophet’s wives - for safekeeping. It was from this collection of material that Khalifah Othman prepared several copies in the form of the first books of the entire Qur’an. Some of these copies still exist. (in turky).

God assures us in the Holy Qur’an:
We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).

Surah 15 Verse 9

and
... indeed it is a Book of exalted power.
No falsehood can approach it from before or behind it: It is sent down by One Full of Wisdom, Worthy of all Praise.

Surah 41 Verses 41 – 42

and about being illiterate it is itself a miracle , how an illiterate person come with a religion the fast growing now, and never has been changed for over 1400 years since it was sent to him , and how it doesn't contradict science and althoughunable to read or write, and remained like that till his death. Among all his people, he was known as being truthful and trustworthy. Before receiving revelation, he had no prior knowledge of Religion or any previously sent Message. He remained like that for his first forty years. Revelation then came to Muhammad with the Koran that we now have between our hands. This Koran mentioned most of the accounts found in the previous scriptures, telling us about these events in the greatest detail as if he witnessed them. These accounts came precisely as they were found in the Torah sent down to Moses and in the Gospel sent down to Jesus. Neither the Jews or Christians were able to belie him regarding anything that he said.
...and also brought an Arabic Koran that is the peak of eloquence and clarity. The Koran challenged those eloquent and fluent Arabs of his time, who initially belied him, to bring forth a single chapter like the Koran. The eloquent Arabs of his day were unable to contest this Koran.

Indeed, till our day, none has ever dared to claim that he has been able to compose words that equal-or even approach-the order, grace, beauty, and splendor of this Glorious Koran.
