I always feel this way when my "other mothers" tend to go fussing and complaining at the simple things that should be looked over.....kids should'nt be getting yelled at over spilled milk-unless they are the baddest of them all!!!

Not poking fun, just trying to get your ideas..

What do you see when you think of God?

Jesus?
A giant man?
A woman?
etc.

I am agnostic, and my "God" in the sense, I see as somewhat like the sun, a talking ball of light.

I shared my idea, what's yours? :)

I have found that a smile and a kind word go farther and are remembered longer than any finger pointing, judging, or arguing. Do you try to live your life in a positive manner so that others may look at you and say,"Hey what makes her so happy?" or "What is his secret?"
Peace Be With You,
Debra

Calculating say 5,300 to 5,500 generations since 200,000 years to present day for the modern human and factoring in around 23 to 27 billion have walked the earth (6.5 billion presently), how many souls do you think are currently in heaven? And what reasonable thinking leads you to make that number?

I do apologize that you are mad at me for coming like that on the internet but I did my part already and I know God will not judge me for not trying. I do not preach religion or share the name of my church I share with you Jesus the answer of your many problems in life and the only way to Heaven. But now I know you don't want to hear about God and his Son Jesus Christ so I'll share with someone else that wants to be save. You want me to go easy on you but I felt there are not enough times for anyone to keep wasting in this life. You want stories that pleases you so there the world is in your hand and I will still pray for you and loving you.

"But the disbelievers say: “Naught is this but a lie which he has forged, and others have helped him at it. In truth it is they who have put forward an iniquity and a falsehood.” And they say: “Tales of the ancients, which he has caused to be written: and they are dictated before him morning and evening.” Say: “The (Qur’an) was sent down by Him Who knows the Mystery (that is) in the heavens and the earth: verily He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (25: 4–6)

And when the disbelievers see you [O Muhammad!], they treat you only with mockery, [saying]: "Is this he who speaks of your gods?" And they disbelieve the Remembrance (the Qur'an) of ar-Rahman (Allah) (21.36).

Nay! They (the disbelievers) say: "[The Qur'an is] Medleys of dreams; nay! he has made it up; nay! he is a poet. So let him bring to us a sign as the former [prophets] were sent with" (21.5).

And they (the disbelievers) say: "O you [Muhammad] to whom the Remembrance (the Qur'an) has been revealed! You are a madman" (15.6).

I say no. If Jesus is god and god sends all non christians to hell (66% of planet earth) then to be like god we too would treat non christians like scum and punish them for eternity. I ask, why follow the preaching of such an evil being as Jesus?

Christians, if you are convinced that after you die you will go to heaven if you just keep your faith in god and repent your sins, then why are most of you so afraid of dying? Shouldn't you be looking forward to it? Or are you afraid you are going to hell or that there is no afterlife after all?

Just curious.

Not making fun, just trying to get your thoughts.

Does every animal really have a purpose for being here? What's the purpose of a rhino? Sure they're very nice creatures, but it seems they just eat, poop and sleep.

Or did God just put them here for a little extra decoration?

What are your thoughts? Thank you for your answers :)

Today we hear about too many Christian Priests and Ministers who rape children, steal the Church's money by deceiving people, full of hypocrisy, etc... (http://www.hiddenmysteries.org/religion/christianity/christianpedofile.shtml)
It is important to know why Christianity suffers the most from such men. It is also important to know that the man-made corrupted Bible claims that the spiritual men are perfect and sinless who judge about all things, and they are not subject to anyone's judgment.

Let us look at the following from the Bible:

"The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment. (From the NIV Bible, 1 Corinthians 2:15)"

Perhaps the Bible's worst error is this ridiculous verse, because it puts certain men above all people, almost to a GOD level. If no one can "touch" these people, as we say it today in our slang language, regardless of their sinful history, then what benefit will this do to humanity?

I don't mind having dedicated knowledgeable Ministers to preach the religion for others. It is important to have such people. Like in Islam, Allah Almighty said in the Noble Quran:

"O ye who believe! Obey God, and obey the Apostle, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to God and His Apostle, if ye do believe in God and the Last Day: That is best, and most suitable for final determination. (The Noble Quran, 4:59)"

It is important that we have knowledgeable people to teach us the Way to GOD Almighty. But to put these people in a category above all people is an utter failure! No where in Islam does Allah Almighty claim that anyone is better than the other. In fact He said:

"O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other. Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well-acquainted. (The Noble Quran, 49:13)"

So despite the fact that a person can be a knowledgeable Minister (Sheikh) in Islam, he still isn't considered better than anyone in the Sight of Allah Almighty. Any person that was taught Islam by him can still be a better person than him.

Certainly the Priest pedophiles and the corrupted hypocrites from the Ministers who deceive people and steal their money like Benny Hyne for instance where he touches people and they pretend to faint are clear examples of the utter failure and corruption of Christianity and the Bible.

One has to be either an extremely stupid person, or an extremely biased one toward Christianity to deny this irrefutable fact.

I know that we are under constant surveilance from god. I know he is the ultimate 'Big Brother' but does he really need to keep watching while people are having sex?

where does god stand on privacy laws?

so does god respect privacy in the bedroom or does he like watching?

This question's really for those kooky religeous types who frequent this site.

You KNOW this site is full of heathens, you KNOW we are going to disagree with most of what you say, you KNOW you are going to be offended by what we say and you KNOW you are not going to convert anyone. Why do you come to this site? What's in it for you?

By the way, I know you're not ALL like that (Tofu Jesus for example), but the majority of you are. Otherwise, why would I keep getting reported?

Please if you do not have anything to say that could help your brother or sister understand something why do you insult him/her? please let’s be responsible and more respectful? I ask forgiveness to anyone this message could hurt!

if god exists - u will be able to ask him what my name is. If god exists - he would be able to tell u what my name is.

Does anyone know my name?

i know u will counter this with the claim that god will not be tested in such ways - but what u must realise is that imaginary beings can also - not be tested

god has so much in common with imaginary beings - that it is not surprising that many think him imaginary. If god wanted more people to believe in him he should distinguish himself from make believe and fantasy.

I look for signs in everything I do...last night I cried for ten minutes solidly whilst chopping onions for a dinner party I was concocting..

I wondered and postulated to myself that maybe there were higher forces at work, making the pain and acts of depravity I have commited in the name of sexual gratification come back and haunt me in some form of rightous indignation...What are your thoughts?
