"But the disbelievers say: “Naught is this but a lie which he has forged, and others have helped him at it. In truth it is they who have put forward an iniquity and a falsehood.” And they say: “Tales of the ancients, which he has caused to be written: and they are dictated before him morning and evening.” Say: “The (Qur’an) was sent down by Him Who knows the Mystery (that is) in the heavens and the earth: verily He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (25: 4–6)
And when the disbelievers see you [O Muhammad!], they treat you only with mockery, [saying]: "Is this he who speaks of your gods?" And they disbelieve the Remembrance (the Qur'an) of ar-Rahman (Allah) (21.36).
Nay! They (the disbelievers) say: "[The Qur'an is] Medleys of dreams; nay! he has made it up; nay! he is a poet. So let him bring to us a sign as the former [prophets] were sent with" (21.5).
And they (the disbelievers) say: "O you [Muhammad] to whom the Remembrance (the Qur'an) has been revealed! You are a madman" (15.6).

From reading Q and A on this site, it seems that your arguments havent progressed much in 1400years.
Am I wrong in saying you are no different from the people who through stones at Muhammad, tried to kill Moses, tried to kill Abraham..etc..

Right of reply ;
The inward condition of man has not changed since the eating of the apple. It is Christ alone which offers release from the bondage of the flesh, of the forces of creation and how they impact apon the vessle that is our body and mind, No matter what Muhammud has said, no matter what any one has EVER said, God has said "l am" and His very own Son has said "l am The Door". The Fact that the Muslim connot believe that there is a mediator between man and god is due to the fact that lshmael, the seed of islam was sent away from his fathers house, The belief of the promise, the belief of the Father was torn out of lshmael, with great pain when he was (cast out) sent away from the presence of his father, whom he loved. lshmael and lsaac would later bury there Father. The love was still there.
Said in the love of The Father and Son. ( The Promise.)

"Take no longer existence, which Allah has made sacred, different than by using way of justice and regulation..." And therein lies the concern. Islamic regulation and what passes for justice enable for a number of murdering of harmless human beings. basically some examples: Sura 9.5 "Slay the idolaters everywhere you detect them." Sura 2:216 conflict is ordained for you, even though it truly is hateful unto you; inspite of the undeniable fact that it may take place that ye hate a subject it is powerful for you, and it may take place that ye love a subject it is undesirable for you. Allah knoweth, ye recognize no longer. Sura 4:seventy 4 enable those combat interior the way of Allah who sell the existence of this international for the different. Whoso fighteth interior the way of Allah, be he slain or be he effective, on him we will bestow an limitless advantages. Sura 8:12 "i'm going to solid terror into the hearts of people who disbelieve. for this reason strike off their heads and strike off each fingertip of them" there are such a number of extra. look on the undesirable punishments required for thieves and persons who've intercourse outdoors of marriage, and "lewd" women persons. (Amputation of palms, a hundred lashes, and being locked in a room till dying, respectively.) Very non violent, huh? And enable's no longer ignore all of the doom and hellfire promised to those that do no longer purchase into the Qur'an's policies. That looks the biggest topic of the Qur'an.

I'm a bit confused by the purpose of this question (as well as by the quotes). And after having taken a college course on Middle Eastern culture, it was also my understanding that the Qur'an was an exact document passed to Muhammad and not to be translated...but that could be a misconception also.

And what is your point exactly with this. If I understand what you have just wrote...you are saying that most of us Non-Muslims think that Islam is a lie which is why we do not believe in it and mock it and thus we are fools...is that what this is about?
Again I will reiterate what I say to every misguided Muslim who enjoys labeling others to the actions of a few...I do not insult true and righteous Muslims who I consider as fellow humans or spread hate or lies against true Islam...but I will nonetheless never convert from my Christian faith...because frankly I do not want to and I do not need to. And I will never make anyone else convert either, so you cannot accuse me of hypocrisy
If conversion is what you expected...sorry to disappoint, but calling people fools does not win friends or allies.

I think the same thing that I think about the Christian Bible. It's a bunch of words in a book written by a person or people thousands of years ago in the attempt to scare me into submission and make me believe that this whole story is the truth. Something that I do not believe about Islam or Christianity.
P.S. I would have never thrown stones at Muhammad, tried to have killed Abraham or try to stop Moses from freeing his people and practice their religions. I believe in the free exercise of your religion, until and unless it interferes with my right to freely practice my religion, or practice no religion at all. You go your way, I'll go mine. I respectfully request of all people to not try to push their beliefs and agendas on me and I will do the same.

To me, it's not unlike Christianity at all. I think there are strong correlations between the above quotes and some Scriptures from the Bible. I am a Christian and I always will be. But, God is all things to all people. Why couldn't He be Allah to the true Muslim? I am not the judge of that. Christian extremists [abortion clinic bombers] are just as wrong as Muslim extremists [anti-west jihad, etc.]. I'm not perfect, and I'm not putting down anyone else's choices either.

Its much more sensible then what the bible says about being slapped on the face.
In the bible u dont slap a person on his face if he slaps you while in Islam you have a choice of either slapping the guy or forgiving him.
In slapping him u dont get punished but in forgiving u get a good deed
