Islam is the religion. Muslim is the one who follows Islam, the believer. "Islams" has no meaning, as I have seen in Q&A so many times I lost count, lol. Kinda like saying Christianities, lol!

The question was asking about being Islamic and not Islam.
Islam is the religion. Muslim is a person who follows Islam. Being Islamic just refers to following Islam as comparision to another person.
eg. she is more religious than her sister or she is more Islamic than her sister.
It's just a way of saying it really.

I can say perfectly what the difference is because i am studing that chapter in history. Islam is a religion which was preached by hazrat mohammed and the ones who belong to islam religion are known as muslims. It is same as the way with chritianity and chritians.

u cant be one without the other u can be muslim and not a pakastani, like im a muslim but im british i've never been to pakistan, but u cant be muslim and not be a follower of islam, islam is the name of the religon muslim is the name given to the followers of the religon. Like christianity is the religons and christians are the followers.

Islam come from the root word "salam" which means "peace"
Islam also means submitt ya wills to almighty God.
in short islam means peace aquire by submitting ya wills to almighty God.
MUSLIM: muslim is the person who submitts his will to God almighty.
Jesus said "i seek not my will but the will of my God who sent me" which means Jesus was Muslim, all prophets of God were Muslims and they gave the same message of Islam. "peace"

the word Islam means to submit your will to God.The word Muslim means One who submits his or her will to God. simple as that. anyone who is in submission to God is Muslim. Islam is not a religion according to the Quran it is a way of life...
