Why is that??
God denial is ok because of freedom of thinking and speech...this is understood
but isn't holocaust denial ??
Why the holocaust is the lonley thing that is MUST be believed?
Why is it among all historical events??
Why is it even among all kinds of racial DESCRIMINATION in history?
Why is every thing questionable in the west except the holocaust??
What is exceptional about it? is Jews the Exceptional thing?
is it because Jews are beleieved to be ( God's Chosen people)?
but isn't this idea comes from religious thoughts ? and all religious
ideas are questionable here?
What is the rule?

Anyone know anything about Satanism? I'm writing a book and one of the characters is being tormented by her husband's x-mistress- who dabbles in satanism. What kind of things would a satansit to to mess with someone? Or is it pretty broad as long as it's evilish?

intentionally silly or crazy answers will be reported- which detracts from your points. just a warning.

Serious answer PLEASE..
I'm asking this question not to compare anything or anyone. And I dun wanna judge anyone cuz I'm also NOT a saint.

I'm just tired to hear many people said that they believe in Jesus but then they said dun need to go to the church to talk to God cuz God is everywhere. For me personally, it sounds like just an excuse (No offense to anyone!)

Yes I know God is everywhere, He can hear you no matter where you are.
But the church is the God's House. So going to church is like visiting God. It's only once a week, maybe only for 1-1.5 hrs or so. And we have 7 days a week, 24 hrs a day only for ourselves.
Dun you think it's only fair for God if we give Him this 1.5 hrs to visit Him? Think about all the things that He has given us. I'm sure He's happy when we visit Him at His House.. juz like when our beloved ones visit us.. that make us happy too, right?
Tell me what you think bout it.. All responses will be appreciated.
Thanks. Have a nice Sunday, and God bless you all

Even Jehovah's Witnesses now accept organ donation (although not blood transfusion), so if you would accept a donated organ if you were ill, why is there a problem in donating them?

If, according to Christianity, you lost any organs, then surely they would be replaced in your resurrection body.

Up until a few years ago, I used to think that Muslims had genuine cause to complain against christianity, because of the crusades. A small group of people saying convert to christianity or else.
However, small numbers of muslims are now guilty of the same actions. Killing non-believers, and telling people to convert or suffer the consequences.
It's a Muslim crusade.
I'm not interested in religious views on this, or quotes from books. I know what I see.
Who else sees this?

My reasons are-1)I've never seen apoor televangelist, yet Christ and his apostles deliberately kept themselves poor. 2)Jesus told someone in the Bible that"you must give up everything to follow me" 3)they all claim to be receiving "special gifts from God such as;prophecy, healing, etc, yet the prophecies never come true. 4)they all commit sin by offering prayer in return for money, even to the point of poor people sending in their last worldly money, saying "oh,well, you'll get $100 000 back...etc..." surely this kind of thing is just plain evil. Can anyone on here tell me why no-one sees through this?

Let us look at the following Verses in the Bible: "If a man takes a wife and, after laying with her, dislikes her and slanders her and gives her a bad name, saying, 'I married this woman but when I approached her, I did not find proof of her virginity,' then the girl's father and mother shall bring proof [how do you think they would do that?] that she was a virgin to the town elders at the gate. The girl's father will say to the elders, 'I gave my daughter in marriage to this man, but he dislikes her. Now he has slandered her and said, 'I did not find your daughter to be a virgin.' But here is the proof of my daughter's virginity.' Then her parents shall display the cloth [the father would literally stick his two fingers covered with a piece of cloth into his daughter's vagina before she gets married and keep that bloody cloth for as long as his daughter is married] with before the elders of the town, and the elders shall take the man and punish him. (From the NIV Bible, Deuteronomy 22:13-18)"

Here is a more clear translation from Hebrew Resources: "The girl's father and mother shall produce the evidence of the girl's virginity before the elders of the town at the gate. And the girl's father shall say to the elders, "I gave this man my daughter to wife, but he had taken an aversion to her; so he has made up charges, saying, 'I did not find your daughter a virgin.' But here is the evidence of my daughter's virginity!" And they shall spread out the cloth before the elders of the town. (From the New JPS translation, Deuteronomy 22:15-17)"

The New JPS translation of Deuteronomy 22:15-17 makes it even more clear about having the parents of the girl displaying the bloody piece of cloth before the elders of the town.

According to the Talmud, the cloth should be "A cloth of less than 3 square finger-breadths. (From the Talmud, Eruvin 29b-30a and Succah 16a)", and before it is being used, it should be "soft, woolen and clean. (From the Talmud, Niddah 17a)"

I have been reading commentaries this week. And realized that what others viewed of the bible and their opinions on the verses are different from some commentaries and some commentaries are different from interpretations. So which is the truth. There must be a general truth on the bible.

Why is it christian reject the notion of prophets to come?

Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits. -(Matthew 7:15-20)

Emphasis on "You will know THEM by their fruits".

So do you reject the notion of a prophet following Jesus?
