If you believe the scientist then there is no evidence of God. However there is evidence that Germany killed alot of people. Were they all Jews? Only God knows.

Mohammed, I would like to ask you a question.
Why do you want the right to deny the Holocaust?
What does that do for you? How does it help you? What is your motive?
Why should anyone including you want to deny the truth?
Whether or not G-d exists, is open for debate and discussion - people can find reasons and arguments for believing or not believing in G-d. The key word is BELIEVE. Can anyone say for sure that G-d exists? Even people who believe - I bet if they are honest, may tell you that sometimes they have their doubts as well.
The Holocaust is not a matter of belief. It is an historical fact with plenty of evidence and we still have survivors of the Holocaust alive to testify to this fact. But even after all the Holocaust survivors have passed away, there is still their written testimony and plenty of written evidence and documents. There are still the existence of the camps themselves, which you can visit if you would like to.
It seems to me that you are disturbed by the existence of the Holocaust because Jews were the primary victims (6 million), although, there were many other victims as well. I think what is exceptional about the Holocaust was that it was organized genocide. There were genocides before and after the Holocaust even still happening today as we speak.
Sometimes, we just have to accept the facts even though they may be painful and difficult to accept because it is wrong to deny the truth - we have to learn from the truth and try our best to be moral people.

First rule is to believe empirical evidence. The empirical evidence is that the Holocaust during WWII did happen. The insanity of the Third Reich mandated the extermination of all considered impure. This included Jews, Gypsies, and gay people among others.
Now regarding God. Sure, we may deny Him/Her. However, there is growing empirical evidence of an ongoing, underlying, and organizing principle at work in our universe. For a simple explanation read the book, or view the video, "What the Bleep..."
It deals, on a very basic level, with some of the ideas of Quantum Mechanics and seems to show that the action of our minds can materially influence other physical material.

Actually, you have a point. Humans should be able to deny anything they like, even if it is a proven fact.
God is not a proven fact. Spiritual matters and faith exist only in the hearts of believers. And you say you understand that.
The Holocaust is a proven fact. The Germans were excellent record keepers, and we have everything from written records to films showing their efforts to eradicate people. And that is not taking into account the people who survived the death camps and their memoirs, or the people who served in German uniforms in the death camps and their memoirs, or the people who served in Allied uniforms and their memoirs, or the civilians who were involved in one way or another and their memoirs.
As for Holocaust denial being about Jews, I think the religious thing has thrown you off. I don't think it is only about Jewish people, or the fact that they are believed to be God's Chosen People. The numbers alone dictate that that cannot be the case. It is estimated that more than 10 million people died as a result of the Nazi effort to clean up the European gene pool. To say it's only about Jewish people, who represent approximately 60%, or 6 million of those people, does a huge disservice to the others, such as Gypsies, Homosexuals, and dissidents of all types, who also died at the hands of the Nazi party.
I think that one of the reasons the Holocaust still looms so large in the minds of people in the West is because it was perpetrated by one of the most advanced, flourishing cultures in the Western world. Germany was a seat of learning and art long before the word "Holocaust" was ever uttered. And it is that same Germany, who gave the world huge contributions to medicine, philosophy, art, music, literature, you name it, that fell prey to a madman who started a state-sanctioned, intelligently designed system of mass destruction of human lives. I don't think that countries who have outlawed denial of the Holocaust have done it as a gift to Jewish people; they have done it in an effort to keep their own people from forgetting that it happened. It is a huge CAUTION sign, and it reminds us that even the most civilized of societies can, in the wrong circumstances, go horribly astray.

The existence of God cannot be proved, whilst the Holocaust is a proved historical fact. Denying the existence of a God, can cause no harm, it's basically an opinion like any other, but denying that millions(not thousands) of people died(not just Jews) during the second world war because of the Nazis is the first step to letting such an event repeat itself. There are thousands of testimonies, documents, videos attesting what happened back then.

Althought I firmly believe the holocaust happened based on historical and anecdotal evidence, I think the poster is right in the sense that it is ludicrous how we cannot question the holocaust, even if we are to be wrong. In a free society we should be able to question even the most politically incorrect topics. It is sad how in certain parts of Europe they have made it illegal to deny the holocaust, but at least the United States gives us that freedom.

Your precise Mohamed, the Holocaust blanketed Gypsies, and different minorities in Europe that Hitler believed have been vulnerable. Mohamed, if the Holocaust became Muslims from Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, etc., might you experience that the crime against those human beings should not be forgotten! What appropriate to the 1000's of Muslims killed by the Serbs? I merely don't comprehend why Muslims hate Jews? you are able to marry Jewish women human beings, you secretly commerce with them fantastically contained in the diamond industry......the do no longer eat pork...I merely don't comprehend. while somebody dies a Muslims says "Allah Be With Them", the Jews say "God Be With Them", and Christians say "God Bless Them"....that's the comparable God, so what's the undertaking?

Because the holocaust is a historical event -- documented as part of history.
Denying it happened is to deny the thousands of people (put aside that they are Jews for a second) died. The exceptional thing is it is the largest scale attempted genocide in human history.
God denial is trickier. There is only one book that talks about his existence. He hasn't been around for a few thousand years.
It's a little more complicated than a human historical event.

When did denial of the Holocaust become a crime? Your logic is based on some premises that I don't suspect are true and certainly are not cogent.
