Do you believe that Jesus Christ is coming for us? Because I believe He is. Very soon indeed.

If the trinity is true then Jesus was praying to himself as he hung on the cross. And how could God die? So either Jesus was the Son of God, a man (notice I didn't say God the Son) or you've got to explaining to do on how you twisted your brain and understanding into some crazy knot to make sense of all that.

Why not just believe what the bible says hundreds of times that he was the son of God and not God?

I was wondering if the Catholics thought that their church is the same church Jesus Christ established when he was upon the earth? If they do, why do they not have Apostles like Christ did? Or do they? I've never heard of them if they do. Also, doesn't it say in Revelations somewhere that the 5th angel or 7th angel or somebody will bring the everlasting gospel back to the earth...why would they need to if it never left. Doesn't something have to be taken away to come back. ? Wouldn't you think that if it took Jesus to come here and establish His church, it would take Him to come back to re-establish it? Just wondering.

To make the absolute statement “God does not exist!” is to make a claim of knowing absolutely everything there is to know about everything and of having been everywhere in the universe there is to go and having witnessed everything there is to be seen. Of course, no atheist would make these exact claims. However, that is essentially what they are claiming when they state that God does not exist. Atheists cannot prove that God does not, for example, live in the center of the sun, or beneath the clouds of Jupiter, or in some distant nebula. This cannot be proven, so it cannot be proven that God does not exist. It takes just as much faith to be an atheist as it does to be a theist.

If every part of the theories of God comes from a fellow human's mind, what makes others follow that theory like fanatics?

Why can't one (who still believe in God) not follow the true narrow way and worship God, honor him in their own ways?? Why does it have to be "just like others"???

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"

Why would anyone choose to believe that there is no god in light of the fact that lipids, enzymes, proteins, amino acids and RNA all depend upon each other to function? Check out:

I've never had a bible and am quite low on money. I consider myself agnostic, but am considering converting to Christianity. I want an actual bible. Not an online one. And preferably the NIV as I hear it is much easier to understand. Please don't tell me to go to a church as I am a bit intimidated by that right now. Please help me as I am very interested. Thank you!

I was doing a bit of research, as I am wont to do, and I came across this bit of advice:

- "Fetish": A Portuguese word meaning "enchantment", is an object or potion or writing given by a witch with false magic powers...
- "Amulet": An Arabic word, "hamelet", which means "hanging": It is like a talisman against evil or injury, or for good luck: A medal with a chain around the neck, a stone hanging in the neck, a pendent... the difference between an "Amulet" and a "Christian Medal", is that the Amulet honors Satan and his Demons, placing the trust in them, while the Christian Medal honors God and his Saints, placing the trust in them...
... The Astrological or Santeria medals honor the Devil... through them away, ware instead a medal of Jesus or his Mother, or any real Christian Saint... the Astrological or Santeria collars, honor Satan... get rid of them!... ware instead a Christian Rosary.

Now, tell me. Is it that witches don't have real power, or that only rosary makers do?

After all, the Bible says that to God, a thousand years is a day. Wouldn’t it just take a few more days to make things right?

to replace the existing law. For example the law in New Testament replacing the Old Testament. For instance in the Old Testament God does not allowed it's follower to work on Sabath day but Jesus work during Sabath Day.

Armageddon , Resurection , Judgement Day.
I found a question on here asking about "Satan" how and why he is a fallen angel.
Lots of interesting and some quite different veiws......

Anyway , my question is ,
Armageddon comes , right , the end of all.
People say that "GOD" let Satan try to prove himself as a leader , and has proven to be a failer , so he (GOD) will create Armageddon and restore things back to how he wanted it.
Why not just get rid of Satan?
Why put Humans through the torment of some disaterous event just for the perpose to bring us back alive.
Whats up with that?
I am not religious at all but am open to listen to other peoples views on this.....I honestly don't get it , why not remove the source of badness instead of destroying everything?
