Dont say he cant just because hes not human. He does get angry, doesnt he? Dont u think the thought of burning forever enters his mind every so often?

Yes, because he realizes that hell will be filled with selfrighteous religious zealots that he will then have to spend eternity with.

He's always depressed, like an unhappy marine engineer on a leaky ship.

He has to bang on the pipes, test people's morality, no one appreciates it, and the kingdom he rules is full of finks and squealers and liars.

He's got a bad job, even worse than checkout clerk at the supermarket.

Yes, he would have chronic depression because he knows that ultimately he will lose the battle with God and be eternally damned to the fiery pit. Thats why he wants to decieve as many as possible.

Yes, but, only when he wishes he would have stayed in school, went on to grad-school, chosen a different profession, got married, had a couple of kids, and lived in the burbs...

I think he probably gets frustrated every time someone accepts Christ as Lord and Saviour. Because that means he won't be getting his hands on that one in hell.
