i remember one of the people in yahoo answer said very rudely, "prophet muhammad banged a nine year old", well, the truth is:

Muhammad was in mourning years when his first wife, khadijah and his uncle abi thalib died. to cheer him up, his friends introduced him to a widow who was around his age, the second was aisyah, who was six at that time. the prophet married both women (a woman and a girl, whatever,) but aisyah lived with his parents until she was 13 or 14. even until several decades ago it is common for women to get married at that age in some countries. my friend's grandmother got married when she was twelve. so why is it a problem for the prophet to marry aisyah when she was six? they didnt live together until she was mature enough, anyway? isnt it better to marry a young girl than commiting adultery?

question is: so why is it a problem? is it just because of that he was muslim so everything he did that seems wrong can be used to intimidate islam?

If we assume according to what the three mainstream monotheistic religions believe about god, that he is all knowing and all powerful, why do we bother to pray? Wouldn't he already know that we are thankful for our food? or that we wish him to make a miracle for our sick aunt? or to the student, help him get an A in his lliterature class? In my opinion, it seems rather rude to keep reminding a person, in this case god, of things that he already knows. If he wanted to answer your prayer, he would.

The concept of trinity does not exist in the Bible. The only verse which is closest to the concept of ‘trinity’, is the 1st Epistle of John, Chapter No.5, Verse No.7, which says… ‘For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the word and the holy ghost, and these 3 are one. But if you read the Revised Standard Version, revised by 32 scholars… Christian scholars, of the highest eminence, backed by 50 different co-operative denominations, they say… ‘This verse of the Bible - 1st Epistle of John, Chapter 5 Verse No.7 is an interpolation, is a concoction, is a fabrication’ - It was thrown out of the Bible. Jesus Christ peace be upon him, never claimed Divinity. There is not a single unequivocal statement in the complete Bible, where Jesus Christ peace be upon him says… ‘I am God’ - or where he says… ‘Worship me’. Infect if you read the Bible, it is mentioned in the Gospel of John, Chapter No.14, Verse No.28 - he said…‘My Father is greater than I’; Gospel of John, Chapter No.10, Verse No.29…‘My Father is greater than all’; Gospel of Mathew, Chapter No.12, Verse No.28…‘I cast out devils with the spirit of God’; Gospel of Luke, Chapter No.11, Verse No.20…‘I with the finger of God, cast out devil’; Gospel of John, Chapter No.5, Verse No.30… ‘I can of my own self do nothing’…‘I can of my own self do nothing - As I hear, I judge and my judgement is just, for I seek not my own will, but the will of my Father.’ Anyone who says… ‘Not my will but God’s will’ - he is a Muslim. Muslim means the person who submits his’ will to almighty God. Jesus Christ peace be upon him said…‘Not my will but God’s will.’ He was a Muslim

If you have given 30 years of your life giving faith to God and have gotten nothing but slap in the face after slap in the face after slap in the face and you just can't have faith anymore, what's left?

If it is all peace and love where are all you people. I am not against Muslims, even though some of my ?'s seem that way, sorry to the peace keepers. It is time for good people of all religions to take a stand and say enough is enough. There are many things that I do not like in my own religion and among my congregation it is known not to gossip or be coniving against others to me. Some of the worst people I know go to my church and I do stand up to their pious(sp?) ways. I think all religions of good people teach humility but when will we understand that does not mean let people walk all over you. You can still believe your faith and not hurt others. I know people who have no religion and far exceed the actions of the religous.

What is the difference between the soul and the spirit?

2006-09-02 22:25:31 · 18 answers · asked by haya D 1

Jesus is saying :
" Not everyone who says to me "Lord, Lord" shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the Will of my Father in heaven"
So is it enough just to belive in Jesus as a savior to go to Heaven?? Or you still have to submitt Will of God and follow His commands? Means not to be sinner..
Please serious answers..

Im wondering why some people think that Islam doesn't respect other relginions? Im a muslim and i have christian, jew and hindu friends we all respect each other. Really Islam kept and still keeping the rights of non-muslims who live in muslims land. It considers to be a sin for me or any muslim if hurt by words or by actions any other person just becuase his/her religion is different!!! Even if we have different colors, languages, religions or nationalities we still have one thing in common which is coming from one dad (Adam) and one mom (Eve)... That's what my religion taught me and that's what i believe in^_^. Allah blesses you:).

If you have read it, is it possible to still belive in religion as you did before? I mean, people are so afraid to question their beliefs, because it will mean that they've lost their faith ( like having the though "Maybe Earth wasn't created the way Genesis states" means that they don't believe it) and they'll end up in eternal damnation. Isn't it said blessed is he that believes even though he does not see? And he who looks for the truth shall find it? Isn't that contradictory?

Why isn't David considered a prophet in judeo-christian theology.

you contend that the psalms are words of god and david recieved the psalms? So then why is it that david is not a prophet.

I believe a prophet is "a person who speaks for God or a deity, or by divine inspiration"

In Islam David is considered a prophet and was given the Zabur which would be the Original Psalms.

I don't understand why he is not a prophet in Judeo Christianity?

Please don't post scripture, i am questioning it on mere logic.

if you analyze, the word ‘trinity’ - it occurs, no where in the Bible. If you search the full Bible, the word ‘trinity’ doesn’t exist anywhere in the Bible - Its not there in the Bible. But the word ‘trinity’ is there in the Holy Qu’ran - The Holy Qu’ran says in Surah Nisa, Ch. 4, V. No. 171, it says…(Arabic)... ‘Don’t say trinity’. (Arabic)... ‘Desist, stop it, its better for you - For God in one God’. It is again repeated in Surah Maidah, Chapter No. 5, Verse No. 73, it says…(Arabic)... ‘They blaspheme, those who say that Allah is one of three, in a ‘trinity’- For there is no God, but Allah’. The word ‘trinity’ is not mentioned in the Bible but it is there in the Qu’ran - and Qu’ran says…(Arabic)...‘Don’t say trinity’. The closest verse that you can find in the Bible, which can be taken for ‘trinity’ is the first Epistle of John, Chapter, No. 5, Verse No. 7 which says…‘For there are three which bears record in heaven - the father, the word, and the holy Ghost - and these three are one’. This verse of the Bible, 1st Epistle of John, Chapter 5, Verse No. 7, is the closest resemblance to ‘trinity’ in the full Bible. But if you read the ‘Revised Standard Version’, which has been revised by 32 scholars of the highest eminence, backed by 50 different Christian co-operating denominations - they have removed this verse from the Bible as an interpolation, as a concoction, as a fabrication. In fact if you analyze, Jesus Christ, (peace be upon him), never spoke about ‘trinity’- that father, son and Holy Ghost - they were one. In fact he said in the Gospel of John, Chapter 14, Verse No. 28, ‘My father is greater than I’, Gospel of John, Chapter No. 10, Verse No. 29, ‘My father is greater than I’, Gospel of Mathew, Chapter No. 12, Verse No. 28, ‘I cast out devils with the spirit of God’. Gospel of Luke, Chapter No. 11, Verse No. 20 ‘With the finger of God, I cast out devil’, Gospel of John Chapter No. 5, Verse No. 30, ‘I can of my own self do nothing - As I hear I judge and my judgement is just - Because I seek not my will but the will of the Father who has sent me’- He never spoke about ‘trinity’. In fact when he was asked that, ‘which is the first of the commandments’ - he said - its mentioned in the Gospel of Mark, Chapter No. 12, Verse. No. 29…(Hebrew)… Which means, ‘Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord’. But if you ask the Christian Church - in the Catechism, they tell you that the Father is a person, the Son is a person, and the Holy Ghost is a person - but they aren’t three persons, - they are one person’. Person, person, person, but not three persons - one person - What language is this? 1+1+1 is equal to 3, Its not equal to 1. 1 into 3 is 3…Not 1. So when we ask them that suppose, there are three triplets, identical triplets - If one of them commits murder, can you hang the other - they say… ‘No’. Then you ask them why? - Because each one has a different personality - If one of the triplets commit murder you cannot hang the other, because each one has a different personality. And when the Christian, when they think of the Father in heaven, they think like an old man like ‘Santa Clause’, sitting in the Heaven on one of the Planet with the earth as His foot stool. When they think about the son, that Jesus Christ, (peace be upon him), they think if a tall man who is fair, who has got blonde eyes like Jeffrey Hunter. You see in the movie ‘King of Kings’. He did the acting of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) - Jeffery Hunter - they have a certain mental picture. When they talk about Holy Ghost, they think of a ‘dove’ as the Bible says… ‘which came upon Jesus Christ, peace be upon him when he was baptized’ - Or they think it like a ‘spirit’ that came at the feast of Pentecost which is mentioned in the Bible. But when you ask the Christian that when you speak about trinity, how many pictures do you have in your mind - the Christian will tell you… ‘One’. Believe me he is lying to you, because 1+1+1 is three, it is not one. Hope that answer the question.

God is prime element, which is converted into creation. In other word in the sky of infinity this infinitely existing, is called god, who is associated with all visible and invisible. God is an existence. We are part of it, like a molecule in a stone. The molecule of infinity as a whole is called a stone. Likewise a small existence of god in every molecule is a prime truth. Effect of creation is called nature and being self processed. The procedure of processing is nature, which is created by effect of creation.
Now god is an existence and every part of god is managed by automatic system of nature .We are being managed by nature, which is called, “shakti”(almighty) and whole existence is called “shiva”. Respectively territorial parts of nature are called bhagwan\ deities. The prime soul of whole existing is “Ishwar”, which at present is in salvation position. Ishwar was and will be almighty at the time of starting conversion of element into creation and end of creation (kayamat). Then after he will be new creator of new creation .It is endless process and continuous process. Molecules of creation are being transformed into “Atma” by its nature.
At present nature is almighty .All molecules of creation are self managed and effected (controlled) by automatic system of nature. Nature is effect of co-existence of molecules (creation). Now we are under control of territorial bhagwans\ deities (Teritorial nature). keeping in view to above facts it is clear that at present god is an existence and being self processed by it’s nature.
Heaven\Hell is within the world and it’s atmosphere. This world is like a big computer and our soul is a curser.
Nature is not yet become perfect. She is partially negative also. She has desires for improvement, increase of her strength and capacity. She likes every thing as you compel to do by your nature. Now you have two ways, either you have to faith in your god or go with nature. Nature Involves enjoyment as well as punishment and sacrifice. Her every action gets reaction. So enjoy the life or strict in your faith in god. Who will certainly give you better position in next creation and you will be enjoy to infinite extent. If you are very bad man you will be toilet cleaner in next creation. So know your self and be cooperative and merciful to each other. Then, nature will also love you as well as god loves you.

If your comment is “the God is perfect and purna” then comment on it..
“Nothing is proved as that dangerous as the thought of taking yourself to be always right. The ill effect of orthodox principle was such that the world got filled with miseries, unlawfulness, war, crime and hatred. Blind faith on own religion, intolerance and imposition of own religion on others have done a lot of harm to this world. True religions never shout at each others sitting on the branches of same tree, whether it is wise to remain calm reaching to the root. Religion is not a chaos , but a peace. Religion doesn’t spark the war, but is a friendship and love.”
