Find a church that teaches the TRUTH about forgiveness.
1. Every Christian IS A PRIEST. 1Peter 2:5 You also are like living stones. As you come to him you are being built into a house for worship. There you will be holy priests. You will offer spiritual sacrifices. God will accept them because of what Jesus Christ has done.
2. We pray for forgiveness, directly to God. Since a true Christian is a priest, they don't need someone else. James 5:15 The prayer offered by those who have faith will make you well. The Lord will heal you. If you have sinned, you will be forgiven.
3. Confession is not to a "priest" but to "one another." James 5:16 So admit to one another that you have sinned. Pray for one another so that you might be healed. The prayer of a godly person is powerful. It makes things happen.
4. Follow confession with repentance. Acts 26:20 First I preached to people in Damascus. Then I preached in Jerusalem and in all Judea. I preached also to people who are not Jews. I told them to turn away from their sins to God. The way they live must prove that they have turned away from their sins.

First off, the "confessional father" dude has no power to say whether it's over or not! Jesus died on the cross for our sins and his word overrides that of some priest!
I was catholic and thought my salvation was over! I was told I was a lost cause so I basically did what I wanted. I learned later that the catholic church does nothing but thrive on those who fear hell and they use fear to keep people under their control.
The pope is not God on earth, the priests cannot forgive or not forgive you, and you DO NOT need to tell them anything! If you want to confess your sins, you go DIRECTLY to the Son of God who is Jesus Christ, and he will forgive you no matter what!
Don't waste your time writhing in the guilt the priests love to place on people by telling them they can't be saved. The Bible says differently and if the priests were actually reading the Bible and believing Gods word, they wouldn't be condemning people the way they do!
You're not evil, you're not a bad person,, no matter what you've done, God loves you and Jesus died on the cross for your sins. You are TOTALLY forgiven!

There is no need to confess your sins to anothe person. I'm sorry you Catholic. Jesus is your mediator. He stand before the thrown of God and makes intercession for you. He is the priest in the order of Melchezzadek (sp). The Catholic Church fails to recognize this. The priesthood has been disolved but that is another matter for discussion. What is going on right now is that you are being attacked and accused by the Accusor "Satan" who is telling you that you cannot or will not be forgiven for whatever it is that you have just done. In fact..if you are sincerely repentant for what you have done and recognize that you were weak, possibly even stupid or duped or seduced or tempted beyond by addictions..whatever the case is..then you, dearest, can go no where but take it to Jesus in prayer and lay it at His feat. Don't carry this burden long and don't carry it alone. If you feel guilty it is because you care...you desire to make it right and that is a good thing..but to carry this guilt on or just bury it means that you don't trust that God keeps His promises. Read Romans 7 & 8 from the KJV of the Bible. Your conscience is being seared and He is the healing balm. How can Jesus hear your healing confession if you don't bring it to Him. Don't trust in any man. Love in Christ, ~J~ <><

Listen, pray to Jesus, and confess your sins to him. You do not need to confess your sins to a man. Only Jesus can forgive sins.
Listen, Jesus died for you on the cross, his body was racked with pain so much pain, he was seperated from God for that time, which is the worst pain any being has ever suffered (of course the whole trinity suffered).
If we get to Heaven, Jesus will still bear the marks of sin for eternity, even though it was us who sinned.
Now also, this may be hard to hear, but check your catechism for the 10 commandments, and then look at exodus 20 for the real 10 commandments. Catholicism teaches contradictory to the Bible. God condemned statues and idols, this is not a system for someone like you who is feeling real hatred for sin, and love for Jesus, and want to repent. Now if you confess to Jesus, he will forgive you. Sometimes you may not feel it, but you must believe.
1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

God loves you that He is always ready to forgive you. God's compassion for us far exceeds our capacity to sin.
In the first place, God is already God before He created us and there's already legions of angels who worshiped Him, in our reasoning, He no longer needed us. Why then did He created us? What's the real purpose? It is because of His great generosity. That He want to share His glory not just for His angels but for us also. Therefore, be glad that God has already forgiven your sins when you go to the confessional to confess your sins, and if you maintain your state of grace, you too, will share in His glory.
You're still feeling guilty of the sins you already confessed? Examine yourself. Are you really convinced that God forgive sins through the priests in the confessional? If yes, then rest assured that it is already forgiven. If not, pray and ask for enlightenment.

Repentance of your sin will help. After confession, you must remove that short coming by turning away from that nature. The joy happens when you are not continuing in the poor behavior.

The weak, the fearful, the ignorant will never reach the God. You cannot undo what you have done; the effect must come. Face it, but be careful never to do the same thing again. Give up the burden of all deeds to God. Give all, both good and bad. God helps those who help themselves.
