To make the absolute statement “God does not exist!” is to make a claim of knowing absolutely everything there is to know about everything and of having been everywhere in the universe there is to go and having witnessed everything there is to be seen. Of course, no atheist would make these exact claims. However, that is essentially what they are claiming when they state that God does not exist. Atheists cannot prove that God does not, for example, live in the center of the sun, or beneath the clouds of Jupiter, or in some distant nebula. This cannot be proven, so it cannot be proven that God does not exist. It takes just as much faith to be an atheist as it does to be a theist.

Good point! that sums up everything exactly!A rational person would never own and drive their Buick and then claim they didn't believe in the existence of GM. It also shows how much a religion atheism is.If they were as open minded as they claim they wouldn't have any problems saying their might be a God.But noooooooooo. They do everything to oppose the Bible and Christianity anyway they can, proving how closed minded and agenda oriented they really are

Hey, but Christians claim that they KNOW that a god exists... aren't the athiests just claiming the opposite?

If it cannot be proven that god does exist, then by your rationale, EVERYONE is an agnostic.

I believe that if it is reasonable for Christians, or otherwise, to believe that there is a god, then I think it is reasonable in the exact same fashion that athiests to believe there is none.

It works both ways. For you to make the statement that god does exist you would need proof that he does. Have you met him somewhere? Please give me the address. Don't play games and tell me that it is because the bible tells you, so it has to be true because it is the word of god. How do you know this to be true?

I do have to agree with Max. You really need to read that site. But I'm sure you bible beaters will never read it. If you did you will stop believeing in that book.

To say that god doesn't exist does take as much faith as to say that he does, but what about the people who just don't really care. They are the sensible people, Atheists don't solve anything, they just make everyone mad, but if people stopped caring about god, then we would be one huge step closer to world peace and that is a good thing.

It is both ways. There is nothing to prove the fact that god does exist.
