Everybody knows if evolution is wrong the only other LOGICAL explaination is aliens started this thing... kind of like an ant farm experiment but on a much bigger scale. Why else do they visit our planet as often as they do?

Excellent question. I don't know the answer.

It seems obvious that evolution is reasonable. As a human race we have evolved in knowledge, technology....etc. I assume change is part of life as we know it (nothing stays the same), and that evolution is similar to change.

As for Genesis....I have not considered how that could be anything other than a shortened version of reality.....as if anyone could've written down on paper the original version of evolution (science at it's finest)....and have that truth be a very good start to a very good book.

Don't get me wrong...the bible is a truth story, it's just not an easy read, and I don't consider that it contradicts evolution at all.

To me that's kind of like saying does that make Norse or Greek mythology correct by default. Even though I am a Christian I still believe a lot of the Bible is just our own mythology. It's just people finding a way to explain how we came into being. All the science in the world will never fully tell the tale of how it happened, because none of us were actually there. All we have are lots of different theories, some just make more sense than others.

Well, no...I believe in Genesis, but if evolution were proved wrong, I'm sure many people would turn to a totally NEW theory about the origin of life.

I am sick and tired of people not standing up for their beliefs. If evelotution is true - why are we not still evolving?

You say the bible is too old to believe - yet you believe history books that go back 1000's of years to be the truth. The Bible IS recorded history. Do you ever doubt what your history teachers/professors teach you - no because they have degrees so they must be right. Tell me this if evolution is true - how did we start - from a piece of dust, micro-organism, what. And if so, how did that start, from an even smaller micro-something or other. Ok, so where did that start - we could go on forever - but I can tell you where it all started. Do you know? Well let me tell you GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Believe what you want - but don't be afraid to say it. If you don't believe in God - then say it. But if you are afraid to admit it because you don't want to go to Hell - too late. You either believe or you don't - black or white. Plus how can you believe in Satan without believing in God. That is like saying I believe in a powerful being for evil and wrong but not for good and right. Makes you wonder - how do you know what evil is if you can't tell what is right from wrong.

Those of you who claim to believe in God and Christianity can be quick to stand up and say Yes I believe there is a Satan, but coward down to admit there is a God because you might be made fun of. How dare you when the blessings that come are far greater than you can ever imagine. These are the ending days the Bible speaks of and we are reliving the days of Sodom and Gamora.

No

Evolution is not a theory that covers the beginning of life.

Science is suposed to address “How” issues, not “Why” issues. Evolution does not address Creation or the Beginning of Life, because of the limitation of its definition, which only starts AFTER the beginning of life. Intelligent Design does not explain “How” issues except to say “and magic occurs” to go from one point to the next. Evolution just tries to see if there might be a more detailed explanation.

being a scientist, i never assumed that evolution is wrong.

being a christian, there was no doubt that genesis was correct in the first place.

btw - i came to the realization after spending many years of research dealing specifically with the tales of the bible. then spent a few mor trying to find the hiccup in my research.

show me where Jesus, king david, king saul, king solomon, john the baptist, pharoh and the civilizations and societies spoke of in the bible were not actual people and places, and i will show you where SCIENCE and ARCHEOLOGY prove you wrong.

But the problem is evolution is not wrong. And even if it was which it is not the bible would still not be creditable.

If there was no Dentist would that make the story about the tooth fairy correct by default?

Sorry, i won't be in a position to think of of a undeniable fallacy, yet i'm able to respond to your question approximately genome length. A genome can advance in length. this could ensue in the two somatic and intercourse cells. Taking people as an occasion (they're elementary), over 50% of the genome is made up of transposons, segments of DNA that don't code for something, only take in area. it is assumed transposons are virus DNA that has lost the skill to break cells. those can the two mirror themselves or be replicated via yet another transposon and insert their new reproduction into yet another spot interior the genome, increasing its length. additionally, throughout the time of DNA replication, polymerases can "slip" in a area with a extreme variety of repeated sequences. This finally ends up in a polymerase by twist of fate duplicating DNA, including greater repeats, inflicting greater slipping etc. yet another is by way of the action of telomerase, which lengthens the ends of chromosomes shortened by way of replication (in some cells). Sorry if it isn't any help.

No, it doesn't. I believe Genesis is correct, but not because evolution is wrong. Genesis is right because it's the word of God. The only way to truly appreciate this is to read it yourself.
