I SUPPOSE IT DEPENDS ON YOUR RELIGION. IF YOU WHOLE HEARTEDLY BELIEVE IN GO AND FAITH, THEN IT WOULD BE UNETHICAL AND AGAINST YOUR VALUES TO DO SUCH A THING.
NOW ON THE OTHER HAND IF YOU FEEL THAT RELIGION IS A LOAD OF CRAP, AND THINK ITS A CULT THAT BRAINWASHES PEOPLE, THEN YOU BELIEVE THAT FOR THE GOOD OF HUMANITY YOU SHOULD BURN THEM BECAUSE THAT IS ONE LESS BOOK TO BRAINWASH SOME ONE
IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR STANDPOINT

Although I am an atheist I think it would be disrespectful to desecrate something that someone else holds as sacred. I personally wouldn't do it even though I believe that Bible is erroneous.

The reason you posted this question is to start a crap slinging debate because you know it would rub the Christians the wrong way and you have no real intention on buying bibles from eBay.

Peace out!

You can destroy as many Bibles as you want, dozens of times as many will be printed the next day to replace the ones you destroyed (and then some). And, of course, the entire text of the Bible is always freely available on the internet.

You can do whatever you want with your property. Although burning bibles isn't going to do anything, there are billions of bibles in print. Also, you aren't destroying evil. It's just a book. You are proving the same point as burning a copy of "Are you there god, it's me margaret." Sounds like you should just light your money on fire instead.

Well although i dont approve of burning bibles, its your life and your beliefs, if you feel that strongly that the "good book" is evil then by all means buy them all up and burn them, after ll it is your life and choices and ultimatley only you have to live with them.

Why don't you just burn your money?

If you're trying to eradicate the Bible, what you propose is like trying to empty the ocean with a teaspoon. No one will ever be able to wipe out the Bible because it is the Word of God. Voltaire predicted that the Bible would be wiped out. After his death, his own printing press was used to print Bibles.

Why do you feel that a letter from your Heavenly Father is evil?
Would you feel out of touch with your biological father just because you were playing outside when you fell and got hurt and he was inside talking to your mother?
Just because God does not prove himself to you by answering your prayers immediately is no reason to burn his communication to you or to ther rest of us.
Why?
Because he has proven that He is worthy of our worship, our communication, our reading of what he has said, by his creation of our planet, and all that is in it, including us.
Give him the opportunity to show himself to you. Pray about it tonight, using his holy Name, Jehovah, Psalms 83:18 and see if he does not answer you.
He will, only if you are sincere.

Of course it is. If they were made using old fashioned lead based inks the flames will burn all kinds of neat colors.

Your lucky to be able to burn stuff in your yard. We have laws for burning, due to the wildfires.
Also your pushing buttons is just wasteing people's time.

Also, have fun - it's your money.
