Serious answer PLEASE..
I'm asking this question not to compare anything or anyone. And I dun wanna judge anyone cuz I'm also NOT a saint.

I'm just tired to hear many people said that they believe in Jesus but then they said dun need to go to the church to talk to God cuz God is everywhere. For me personally, it sounds like just an excuse (No offense to anyone!)

Yes I know God is everywhere, He can hear you no matter where you are.
But the church is the God's House. So going to church is like visiting God. It's only once a week, maybe only for 1-1.5 hrs or so. And we have 7 days a week, 24 hrs a day only for ourselves.
Dun you think it's only fair for God if we give Him this 1.5 hrs to visit Him? Think about all the things that He has given us. I'm sure He's happy when we visit Him at His House.. juz like when our beloved ones visit us.. that make us happy too, right?
Tell me what you think bout it.. All responses will be appreciated.
Thanks. Have a nice Sunday, and God bless you all

Thanks for the responses, guys..

I'm not saying that those who dun go the church are bad Christians, cuz I also know there are a lot of people who go to the church regularly do bad things in their life. But I also dun say that they are bad Christians.
Who am I to judge? Only God knows it.
I'm just asking.. Dun you have the desire to make God happy by going to the church?
Yes, there are many ways to make God happy.
But I'm asking about going to the church.. NOT the other ways.

lives7.. You got my point!
Tu Nga.. you are wrong in this case. I'm NOT thinking that I am a better believer. I believe in God and I just wanna make Him happy because I love Him as He loves me already long time ago before I do.. And what other people (Christians) do is NOT my business, and I dun judge anything or anyone.

Now I'm just so happy to know that there are still many people who give some of their times to visit God, no matter how often, but every little thing counts! ;-)

Its like we are cars and we go to church to fill up with the Word. If we dont go to church we are going to break down somewhere and instead of being full of fuel (Word) we will be full of dirt (the secular world).

I am a Catholic.

I go to Mass every week because:

+ God commanded us to keep the Lord's Day holy. Christians believe that Jesus' Resurrection on Sunday changed the Lord's day from the Sabbath (Saturday) to Sunday.

+ Jesus commanded us at the Last Supper to 'Do this in remembrance of me."

+ Christians have been gathering for fellowship, to share the Gospel and the Eucharist since the beginning as it was recorded in the Acts of the Apostles.

+ It gives witness to my union with Christ and to his Church in faith and love.

+ I join with others in the community of believers, the Body of Christ, to give God worship, thanksgiving, and even ask for His blessings on those who need it including the world, the church, and us.

With love in Christ.

I used to go 3 times a week and there were many friends all seking to know the truth. I moved and here they sit and listen to their pastor and do not study themselves thus are brain washed. I can not stand how they say their version of the truth is superior when from reading on my own I know they are all in error, to some degree. Example one church thinks you can not possible be one with the Holy Spirit unless you are Baptized useing the name of Jesus verses the father son and Holy spirit. Let me tell you all Jesus's life no one ever called him Jesus. His actual name is pronounced Yes u ah. so why say others are not the real thing on this technicality. Obvious error and for the reason of keeping people separated when the chief instruction is to be of one accord. Makes me sick so I only go here or there occasionaly. I am not catholic, or anything particular I am a lover of God and believe the Word is His message to us Unfortunately tampered and restricted by humanes but non the less inspired. I do not need a priest or reverand to explain things I can read for myself and I am not of a mind to fault anyone else for how they want to believe as long as they do not put themselves above the word or it's accountability

I go to church 3 times a week. We have Sunday morning worship, Bible Study, and a weekly Bible class. I go to church to worship God, learn more about Him, get a better understanding of the Bible, and to spend time with others who share my beliefs. I think we need to go to church; but I don't judge others. That isn't my job. I believe we should share the Good News...not judge others or try to blast them with our beliefs. Take care.

I go once a week for any number of reasons.
I want to be close to God.
I want to worship Him in His House.
I want to hear the Scriptures read aloud.
I want to hear the sermon and hopefully learn something about God I did not know before.
I want to partake in the Eucharist.

That is why I keep Holy the Sabbath.

I have been thinking like you, that I am a better believer while other friends are somewhat getting away from the right course.
Then, little by little I realize that I am the worst person in the commnity, I try to seek my own improvement and I see that other friends are still moving wonderfully ahead of me.
The secret is that each man cures his own disease, then the whole world will be recovered.

First. Roman Catholicism is the first Christian community directly established by Jesus Christ. No separation needed in your question. Common etiquette.

I go to Mass every Sunday, on Holy Days of Obligation, and attend daily Mass. (Now, sometimes I do miss during the week) I am required to go to Mass each week on Sunday, the day of the Lord's Resurrection.

I attend Mass to receive Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. I go because Jesus is my best friend. I go to receive His Grace in the Eucharist, to listen to His word from the Bible, to speak and pray with Him in His home. (I go to my friends house to visit, why not my best friends house). I go to pray in community with others, to assist others, to understand others needs.

No. We in simple terms understand that they misread the Bible and have faith in teachings like "bible basically" and "faith on my own" which at the instant are not what Christ taught. in simple terms through fact the Catholic Church does not trust the opinion of "bible-believing Christians" on what the Bible says does not mean they have not got faith interior the Bible. it fairly is the "bible-believing Christians" who're incorrect - not the Bible. The Bible is the inerrant word of God. Who belongs to the Catholic Church? 836 "All adult males are referred to as to this catholic team spirit of the folk of God. . . . He continues to be certainly interior the bosom of the Church, yet 'in physique' not 'in heart.'"321 838 "The Church is time-honored with of that she is joined in many basic procedures to the baptized who're venerated with the help of the call of Christian, yet do not profess the Catholic faith in its entirety or have not preserved team spirit or communion decrease than the successor of Peter."322 those "who have faith in Christ and have been precise baptized are put in a definite, even with the reality that imperfect, communion with the Catholic Church."323 With the Orthodox church homes, this communion is so profound "that it lacks little to attain the fullness that would desire to enable a common social gathering of the Lord's Eucharist."3
