and communicated that he was sick of humanity... and, he said that no more souls would be admitted to heaven ever, that everyone currently living and that will be born in the future for all time is assured a place in Hell when they die, no exceptions, would you change your life? How? How would our world change? Please be specific, I'd like to hear things I haven't thought of.

How about this... I have a gun to your head. You tell me the funniest joke you ever heard and I'll spare your life and save you. If not, you're dead. Should you be thanking me for offering you the chance to spare your life or hating me for putting the gun to your head in the first place?

1) I wouldn't send anyone to Hell, since it's infinite punishment and no one is infinitely evil.

2) I don't hide out in Never-Never Land and demand people believe in me, without proof or even evidence.

3) I wouldn't sit idly by while natural disasters ("Acts of God") happen, or while massive human atrocities occur. Say what you will about Free Will, but when a child is about to hurt themselves or others, a caring parent intervenes.

4) I'd take responsibility for myself. I wouldn't create imperfect beings, then get all mad when they turn out to be imperfect, and go do something rash like drown everybody.

Yep, I'm better than God.

The stereotypical "jim_darwinite" based on the fact that I know 99%of them, is that they are mainly college educated professionals in the workplace aged 20-30 who dig budhism and stuff like this and want to feel connected to other people but dont want to deal with believing in fairy tales that there arent evidence for, probably evolutionists, probably love America and love freedom. Probably vote Democratic.

Thats my stereotype.

Where is the evidence? Why do they never offer pagan scriptures as proof of Christianity's borrowing from previously existing pagan religions?

The scare tactics are in The Bible to make one conform-if this LOVING GOD of yours is so filled with blessings and goodness and kindness and is a Human philanthropist-Then why put HELL to your head! Conform or Burn!

Christianity has been a disaster from the start: they nearly eradicated Classical Civilization, they slaughtered both pagans AND "unorthodox" Christians, they plunged the West into a thousand years of backwardness, staged bloody Crusades, had a brutal Inquisition, burned thousands of "witches", plus a ruinous Thirty Years' War. Christianity is demonstrably an utter failure at improving people's lives. It fails the test of Jesus: "A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit."

ENOUGH! Time for Christianity to go!

Isn't believing in no moral absolutes far less rational than believing in the doctrine of Christ ,(love your neighbor as yourself) the moral standard of the Bible. No absolutes is saying that there is nothing defined as definitly right or wrong and that only what you or society regard as right or wrong is, but nothing is absolute. If there are no absolutes, if one person or society believes it's ok to rape and murder it would be acceptable to them . there has to be a supreme being that has a supreme set of rules and restrictions in place, if not we would annihilate and abuse ourselves., because no one would believe that wrong is wrong. Their would be no need for accountability or law.
Do you honestly believe there is not a standard that all people should live by, and that Man should do what is right in his own eyes

Why do most people who don’t believe in God call this rational thinking and Christianity irrational or mindless

Proverbs 12:
15. The way of a fool is RIGHT IN HIS OWN EYES: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise

Hope this makes sense

I'll make you a deal: If YOU read "The Jesus Mysteries" by Timothy Freke & Peter Gandy, I promise to read your Bible cover to cover. Deal? Or will you let me go to Hell?

i know some of you will argue this point, but you'd be 'preaching to the choir.' this is more for the people who believe that there is only ONE way to. is that really fair? don't quote the bible or your pastor, whoever you listen to, think about it yourself. is it fair?

It amazes me how many non-believers there are, and that people actually make sick remarks about our Father. It's sad to know what will happen to them when He returns. He is very real and could change your life.

What about the Shroud of Tourin? And the box of James, brother of Jesus' bones? Those aren't proof of Jesus? I mean really. Why would 12 guys get together and make up some guy to believe in, and make up all his teachings? That makes no sense. Think about it all.

I am doing a presentation on Wicca and need to find out what the stereotypes are. I don't need preached to or told all wiccans are going to hell...I want to hear every stereotype, even if they are stupid, like they sacrifice children!
I have studied the religion and don't need a lecture on how it works or what it really is...I already know.

Thanks in advance!

He died two years ago and I didnt have the chance to confront him, and I still have nightmares. Will God understand why I cant find the streanth to forgive?
