What about the Shroud of Tourin? And the box of James, brother of Jesus' bones? Those aren't proof of Jesus? I mean really. Why would 12 guys get together and make up some guy to believe in, and make up all his teachings? That makes no sense. Think about it all.

there is actually more historical evidence of Jesus then there is george washtington. Jesus is mention in several historians writings, mostly notably joesephus...so anyone who says that Jesus did not exsist really needs read some history.

I am a non-believer, but still I believe that Jesus lived in about the time claimed. I also believe in Julius Caesar, Tiberius, Attila, and many historical figures.
Most of the Greek and Roman historical people had many exact statues made of them, so we know exactly what they look like. No one in his time ever made a statue, a painting, or even mentioned the tinyest bit of description of Jesus or his mother.
We have absolutely no idea of what they looked like. That doesn't mean that they didn't exist. I believe strongly that Jesus existed in those days, but I also believe that he was no more of a God than any of the others.
As for the Schroud, even if it could be dated back to the time of Tiberius ( which it can't ), how can anyone connect the image with Christ ? The image is that of a man. Many men lived and died at that time.
It's like the image of Mary on the window in Florida. First nobody has the slightest idea of what Mary looked like, and second the image had no face ( just the form of a woman ). Take the silhouette of any woman in the Near-East - - it would fit the picture.

Simple...

The Shroud of Turin has been debunked, Carbon dating of the cloth puts it's manufacturing at around 1300 a.d.

Box of James - How can it be proven that the box contains the bones of this individual.

What other proof is there?

The Bible?
The earliest book of the bible was written approx 30 years after he died. Think of a game of telephone lasting 30 years, can you imagine the changes and exaggerations made over 3 decades?

In addition, the earliest manuscripts we have of the books of the bible do not agree with each other, these can be attributed to the fact that these were re-written over and over by hand.

The writing of Josephus - Disputed, review the link below.

Why would 12 guys and make it up?

- It could have been a prank
- They could have been trying to dominate a group of people (like some modern cults)

You sound very naive and brain-washed. Believing in religion or God is a mental illness.

Religion is a serious mental illness. It’s the inability to face the reality of life and the finality of death. It affects 85% of the USA and 75% of US victims are Christians. The more pathetic and desperate a persons life, the more likely they are to believe in a god. People with otherwise empty lives, are the strongest believers. It gives them false hope that there’s a higher meaning to their sad and pathetic lives.

Look how religious people behave. They even pray to fence poles and cheese sandwiches.

People say they talk to aliens, people say they talk to God. The first lot are called nutters, the second lot are called religious. There's a lot of money to be made out of religion and it has become a well rehearsed play over time. Religious people also pray (talk) to fence poles and cheese sandwiches.

Christians are below average intelligence and tend to be very gullible, that's why when a fence pole or a cheese sandwich has an imprint that looks like a religious face, such as God or Our Lady, millions will flock to the spot and worship. It's also known as sheep to the slaughter syndrome.

All religions are just fantasy or mythology or cults, call it whatever you wish. The main religions also have magic tricks which are called miracles in Christianity.

Just watch what happens when a magic trick occurs, for example, the fence pole or cheese sandwich image starts to weep. Just watch how the flock of followers behave. People find it hard to accept reality so escape into fantasy and that’s what religion satisfies. Miracles are all in the mind and are nothing more than trickery.

The shroud of Turin has not been authenticated, the carbon dating is messed up because of the fire. The burial box of James was a hoax. There's plenty of proof of Jesus from historical records, Josephias, a jewish historian, and Roman records of the crucifiction (Romans were notorious record keepers), so its not really proof that is needed. If people need "proof", its not really faith.

It is sufficient that Islam and Muslims testify for Jesus to proof the truth of Jesus PBUH.

Look Jesus was a person, if he actually existed as anything other than a fictional character in a fictional book, he would have been a con-artist or just another mentally ill person that had delusions.

Exactly. It's not like your everyday person would make up a story and suffer martydom and persecution for a story they made up.

People just fear what they can't see I guess. Well, at least I know you and me know that he does exist.
