i know some of you will argue this point, but you'd be 'preaching to the choir.' this is more for the people who believe that there is only ONE way to. is that really fair? don't quote the bible or your pastor, whoever you listen to, think about it yourself. is it fair?

I'm going to try to answer your question but it's kind of hard because I don't believe exactly as everyone else does, I follow the ideas of God more so than Jesus. When God kicked Adam out of the garden he told him that he warned him not to eat of the tree of knowledge because if he hadn't warned him and Adam ate of it that would've been Gods fault not Adams. God warns us through the bible what he expects from us and if we choose not to heed his warnings it's our own fault and our punishment for this it justified in our own hearts because we knew better. It's like driving down the rode at 80mph even though the signs say 60mph and we get a ticket for 150.00 we knew better but ignored it and payed the consciences for it. That's how God works right or wrong there's no in between. What you are referring to is Jesus, 9 out of 10 people need to thank God for Jesus because he over looks mankind's faults. Jesus forgives everyone except someone who harms a child, he stated that anyone who harms a child to tie a brick around their neck and throw them in the ocean. So if you actually care about yourself and others you will have no worries. You could think a rock is your God and pray to it every day and you'll still go to heaven, forgive them father for they know not what they do. Yes this is way more than fair because you don't actually have to care and you'll still go to heaven.

Let's turn it around: do you think that it would be fair for people to do whatever they wanted, and God would just have to accept it without any argument?

God didn't have to give man a means to be saved; He did it because of His love, mercy, and grace. There is no other way; why should there be more than one? Why should He have to give any other?

It's kind of tying people's hands to ask them a Bible question and forbid people to quote the Bible; is that fair? Bottom line, it doesn't matter what we think or what we feel; what does the Bible say?

Yes, it's more than fair.

Think of it this way: you and a group of people are standing in the middle of a highway. I yell repeated warnings that a truck is speeding toward you and, unless you move, you will all surely die. Some of you choose not to believe that trucks exist; others listen and get out of the way. Those who failed to listen are killed. Is that fair?

Sure it's fair - think about it this way:

If you're inside a burning building and someone appears at the window with a ladder, would it be fair that they only put up one ladder at the one particular window??? Sure it would be fair because at least they are giving you the chance to escape.

And let's be honest... at that point, would anyone inside the burning building even think to debate the question for fairness??? Probably not... chances are you'd rush to the window to escape the flames.

"It's unfair!" that's what a kid will say to their parents.. Fair could be argued as a concept, a concept to hide what's really lies beneath one's heart. Envy perhaps.. "he can do this and why can't I?" Each house has its own rules, it's own boundaries that one has to follow.

So for salvation, It lies on your beliefs. Who you believe created you. Who you believe is the truth. If one says 'this is the only way' and the other way says 'this is the only way'.. then one has to choose, since both can't be truth at the same time, it is mutually exclusive.

It's not a question of fair; it's a matter of mercy. God gave us His ONLY Son. One God, One Way. For there is only one God and One mediator between God and man; the Man, Christ Jesus.
If you don't want the Bible quoted, then why ask such a question?

Is it fair? It's easy. Everyone acts like it's this hard, impossible thing. You're not going to be perfect afterward, just forgiven. You don't have to be perfect at any point.

Is it fair for God to ask you to believe in Hiim and interact with Him? He did create the whole thing. He does offer love. He gives forgtiveness that isn't deserved. Sounds fair to me.

Lets face it, Life is unfair. God, however, is not. Can it be unfair when God has been telling you all through time that there is only one way to Salvation, and you don't accept that way? Can it be unfair if God let it be known what the consequinces would be for not taking Him up on His offer of Salvation and you chose to ignore Him? Can it really be unfair when you land in the place of Judgement after all of the warnings God gave you?

So many fools. It's sad, really.

Of course it's not fair. Ask Native Americans or Pacific Islanders if it's fair. Why didn't they get an opportunity to know Jesus. Why didn't we? Why do I have to believe the word of people who only believe because their ancestors were threatened with torture and death if they did not convert?

Sheeple. They're hilarious.

Yes I think it is "fair" do you argue that it's "Fair" that there is only one door into some place you wish to go? And no one said life was fair. He who creates something has the right to make the rules.
