Dear Brothers and Sisters, I just wonder why some people like insulting others. Please if you do not have anything to say that could help your brother or sister understand something why do you insult him/her? please let’s be responsible and more respectful? I ask forgiveness to anyone this message could hurt!

People are insulting to others in a futile effort to make themselves feel superior. It stems from a lack of self-love, self esteem, and an inferiority complex. These are usually people who are fundamentally incapable of being honest with themselves and who probably have no spiritual foundation.

It's because they don't have respect for others and other people's belief. They think that the only way they can make themselves feel good is by making others feel bad or poorly about themselves or make others hate the ones they hate and then they feel successful.
It's sad really. The world is turning into Hell. Maybe thats why a lot more people feel like killing themselves because love is literally dying now from the hearts of people.
I think everyone needs to start praying for peace and harmony.

Some people in their haste to push forward their own religios views spare no thought to the feelings of others. They forget that other people may be just as fervent in their beliefs. Unfortunately not many religions seem to leave much leeway for tolerance.

The same question has been going in my head since I first joined this Q&A...unfortunately the answer remains as vague and as elusive as ever to me...so many reasons, not enough time to remember them all...
Hopefully people would give you more thoughtful and concrete answers to this...your question seems more respectful and inoffensive than my version of the same question.

because they were insulted. because they are taking revenge on someone they know they can hurt even if that person didn't do nothing to them.
i know what you mean, but we have to accept that there are more people like that nowadays. i hear it is cool to be mean and not considered good to have manners. it is sad, but it is as it is.
i find people insult me, too. with looks and attitude. just know that there are consequences to every mistake.

its ok brother, let them be. let them follow their hearts and do what they want to do. we have no problem and we respect them for what they want to be, at least i dont have any problem with what they do. let them bad mouth and cuss at us as much as they want. i have only one answer for them or say a prayer for them.
may the peace and blessings of Allah be with them and may He guide them in the right path. May Allah show His mercy on them and protect them from the Hellfire.

when people make outrageous nonsense claims that deserve ridicule they should be ridiculed. i.e. whenever Christians talk about sin, Jesus, hell, demons, angles etc. then they should be insulted
