You're coming from the right place. But let me give you a couple of suggestions:
The Internet is a very opinionated place, and it's very unlikely that you'll convert anyone here. Discussion is great, but people generally like their own opinions here.
Secondly, you obviously believe very much in what you say, and it seems like your heart is really in the right place. I have thought, always, even in my time in the Christian church, that the best way to get your message across was simply to live it; if you can really live the Christian life, people will take notice, and many will ask you why you behave the way you do. This is the time to talk about converting; this also ties in with my other point, in that anyone can get online and say anything--people don't know what's behind it. In the real world around you, people will know you by your actions.

I'm not sure if you have someone in particular that you are speaking to in your little note but I did want to say something to you.
If people get mad at you for telling them to pray then why 'are' you 'telling' them to pray. Don't you think that a better approach may be to ask if the individual believes in prayer? As a Christian (and a United Methodist) I don't like people 'telling' me what I should and shouldn't be doing. They don't know what I do unless I tell them and I'm not one for talking about myself. Even though I do pray in public I don't flaunt it. In general, people don't like for others to force their beliefs/faith/religion on to them. I know this from experiene. Like I said, I'm a Christian but I have had people try to force their beliefs on me and it 'is' rather annoying...especially if it is consistently happening. Pleasing stories aren't always necessary but with the way the world is right now reading/hearing a nice story would make world a little nicer.
Just so you know, I'm not wasting my life. I work full time, go to church, and I am in graduate school. I also have some wonderful cats that are my pride and joy. I am happy with the way that my life is going and don't need a random stranger praying for me or loving me. As long as I know that I have the love and prayers of my friends, family, and church family then I am doing just great. I also know that having your prayers aren't going to change how God sees me. He knows, as I know, my strengths and weaknesses and when and where I have sinned. As long as I can ask for forgiveness, receive forgiveness, and accept the fact the that I have done wrong then I am doing right.

I think it's very kind of you to offer an apology like this. I do not believe the same as you do, and I truly do not like being preached to, but your heart is in the right place and I bet you are a very good person and someone I would probably like in the real world as long as you respected my beliefs while disagreeing with them.
Bright Blessings to you.

No apologies needed. There's nothing wrong with having faith. Many people will resist you. I believe in God but I don't believe in organized religion. But I don't feel that God loves you more than He loves me.

Do not say you are sorry! It is our place, as Christians, to spread the word of Jesus Christ and win others to Him. You will have many jewels in your Crown!

Sister, I don't see Jesus saying that he was sorry, If we tell the truth, we don't have to tell anyone we are sorry. Why should we have to say we are sorry, those unbelivers don't say, they are sorry. You keep on praying & don't worry about what people might think.

Why must you TELL others to pray? True Christians don't need your prompting. Yours is the sin of self-righteousness. It's one of the seven deadly sins. For shame.

I suggest you not pray for anyone without their permission. That's an attempt to interfer with their free will and is a very 'evil' thing to do.
