Just because I make one or two typos, people are ready to burn me at the stake. Why is that? Why do they attack my typos and not the content of what I am writing. This is "yahoo answers" and not an English class.

So what will we see visible signs of this government on the earth?

Christianity must be true because the Bible says that the believers in this world will be hated by non-believers. I wanted to say that I notice for the most part that atheist seem to attack Christianity only. I hardly see any atheist attact Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, or Hinduism. Why is that? And don't say because Christianity oppressed people. Thats bull, many religions, especially Islam, oppresses people and I never hear atheist complain about them. Does atheist hatred really prove the Bible right when it says that believers will be hated?

why would it make a difference if it wasn't your time to die?
I mean what difference would it make if you smoked, drank or even took drugs. If you weren't going to die until a specific time.

Im not trying to upset anyone or rock the boat, but things like this dont make sense to me....
In Mumbai, a guy opens a restaurant and calls it "Hitler's Cross". He isnt promoting Hitler or antisemitism, he just used an infamous guy's name to stir up business. The Jews in his community (which was described as a small percentage) damn near roited to force him to change his name. A quote from the Jewish Antidefamation League: "The incident exposes the lack of understanding of the present generation about the atrocities of the past and the need to educate them about crimes against humanity," federation chairman Jonathan Solomon said. So, this is a reason to silence the man? Its actually a crime in Germany and other Euro nations to mention Hitler or the Holocaust. WHY???
The Jewish Holy Book is chock full of atrocities of the past and crimes against humanity....should we silence it too????

Have you ever thought about suicide? If so then stop! God loves you and has a plan for your life. Don't just give up on life. I have lost many people to suicide and the pain you put your family members are not worth it. The reason why your going through so much is cause the Devil wants you to just give up your life. He is scared of what God has planed for your life. The Devil comes to steal kill and destroy!!! Don't let him do it to you or a loved one.

I don't see them jumping up and down and picketing for other criminal behavior. Sure, abortion is murder, but don't you find a severe ethical dilemma in believing all sin is the same in the eyes of God and no matter what horrifying destruction you cause for how many different people, all that matters in the end is if you believe in a baby Jesus? Hey, so tomorrow i'm giving a talk at an LDS baptism on the subject of baptism. I was only given a days' notice, and i'm struggling to write it! Does anyone have any helpful ideas, or any scriptural quotes? If it's LDS that would be helpful, but if not Bible quotes are still very useful!

I get the feeling that many fellow Christians are what I would call "feel good Christians." It seems as if they are interpreting the bible and the message of Christ as a way to be comfortable and "feel good" in life. That may be fine to a certian degree but I also feel that whats more important is standing up to injustice and defending what is right. I see may "comfortable" Christians look away when injustice is present. I on the otherhand tell people to their face when I feel that they are doing wrong. How do you feel?

I work the Sunday shift. This sounds rather serious-- is there some clever interpretation of "must be put to death" that I'm missing?
I suppose it doesn't really matter, Deuteronomy's already condemned me to death a few times over. One more won't hurt.

I love this woman. She was a member of the Holland government, but because she has taken as stand against Islamist abuse of woman, Muslims threaten to murder her constantly.

Hirsi Ali grew up in an Islamic country. She rejected Islam and Islamic abuse of woman, moved west, got educated and became a fanatastic success, eventually winning a place in the Holland government.

The Holland people loved her and she was a celebraty. She decided to take a stand against the slavery and abuse of woman. When she did that, the death threats cam pouring in and have never stopped.

Shes been on 60 minutes now several times. She resigned her position in the government sometime after the Islamic cartoon insanity because it became to difficult to protect her and the government itself was threatend but Islamic interests outside the country.

She now lives in DC and works for a think tank.
