i sit here each day answering questions that i feel i can answer , with respect for others despite their beleifs
but i do wish i could ask questions regarding my own beliefs , but i feel that would come across as preaching ...
should i just carry on answering questions and getting my opinion across that way , or should i be asking more questions
i do worry i come across as arrogant , bias or preaching
your thoughts please ?
think im just fed up waiting on questions i can answer lol

According to the Bible, Adam and Eve's offspring had to have had intercourse to multiply. This suggests that incest is necessary to multiply the species. I have heard someone explain that "...that's because our genetics were purer back then..." So if it wasn't frowned upon by society and utilized to multiply, would you bang your cousin?

however the bible claims that god invented bread. In Genesis after Adam eats the fruit, god banishes Adam from the garden and says to him "cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat BREAD, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. "
However anthropologists and archaeologists would say that bread recipes developed over thousands of years, with stone age man making a very basic bread and that bread development was a major contributor to the creation of civilisation during the agricultural revolution, during which man could settle in one place due to agricultural developments. However, the bible begins during this revolution. So, why say that archaeologists agree with the bible? In this example it is fundamentally not true.

I was at one point of my life a Christian. The reason I stopped being one becuase I didn't have the heart to say or think that another person that isn't Christian that they would one day be damned to hell. I still believe in all the morals that the bible promotes. I believe in loving God and respecting him. But I do not believe Christ was God. He might have been holy. But He is not God. Do you think that one day that i'll be in hell?

When I was 16 years old schoolboy when I was reading the Bible I have had visions and I tried to reject it, I said, Oh, no, this is a misleading hallucination, it is not reality. But when I have an illness, one christian woman came and prayed for me and when I continued reading the Bible I saw a vision in which I saw myself healed from chicken pox for one week and it was real. I was healed from chicken pox for obne week. I was so astonished, it was so amazing! So what do you think about this?

Moses said there is no forgiveness of sins without a blood atonement-today unless you believe Messiah Jesus -you have no blood atonement possible because the temple is gone-so that means that the God u believe in lied to you as well as Moses who said thus saith the Lord if you Jewish and reject Jesus.
Levititicus 17 vs 11 The life of the flesh is in the blood and ive given it on the altar to make atonement for your souls."

Isaiah put it clearly too-chapters 52 vs 13-53vs12-"And he shall be exaulted, but first marred more than any man, and he shall lay down his life and make atonement for our sins."

why not believe Isaiah and Moses then you can believe Jesus

Jesus said i am the way the truth and the life, no one cometh unto the father but by me."

i prayed as the Messiah said to pray-- Please forgive me for my sins, im sorry, come into my heart and help me, be my friend -amen and he gave me shalom peace in m y soul and truely became my best friend, shepherd and savior

I was raised LDS and have experienced my fair share of strange events in my life, as has everyone here. But when I was 21, after spending about five years absent from church and finally questioning its ulitmate truths, along with those that claim to be held in every other religion on this planet, I came to the terrifying realization that there is absolutely nothing in this universe that can tell you what the truth is. I realized that all these ambiguous terms used in organized religion are merely designations to ideas, as it is with anything that must be translated from thought to reality. And then I realized that reality is merely thought, because all reality is merely transitory, secondary imformation. So I then came to the realization that it was up to me to determine what I truly believe, and that is this:
That we are here to gain a point of view that is entirely our own, and that "God" is merely a meeting point of all restrictive consciousness in the universe(s). We are one.
