As a Christian do you believe in the existence of demons?

Do you think there are people who serve them?
Do you think they could harm through the agency of demons?

I am christian and have no thoughs of practising magic just wanted to know what other christians thought on this subject

I BELIEVE THERE ARE DEMONIC SPIRITS OUT THERE, AND YEAH SOME PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY DUMB TO SERVE THEM

There are demons, just as there are angels, Angels are spirits that serve God, demons are spirits that serve satan....

yes there are people who serve them, some i think without knowing it, they are satanists, or anyone who tries to get into dark arts or magic and try to contact spirits/ghosts..........

Demons can cause harm, in the bible there have been several verses about people being possessed by demons, demons can enter your body, and control your mind, they can cause you to hallucinate, or see/hear/feel things that arent there, they can make you harm yourself, .........

I believe this type of thing could happen to a person, if they serve satan, or if they get too involved in dark arts /magic, or perhaps to someone who doesnt have God's protection,

I feel Christians, who ask for the Lord's protection are safe from this, (I dont mean, ask god for protection then go and pull out a ouija board and hold a seance or anything) the bible says "How can light live with darkness?" if your soul is filled with the holy spirit, satan or demons cannot harm you...........

Certainly there are demons (or bad spirits or whatever you want to call them).

I think there are people effected by them and who listen to them - far more than those who consciously serve them.

There harm is more through the mind then physical attacks, although that has also happened in extreme cases.

Yes demons are real because Jesus and his disciples casted demons out of people. Also when Satan tried to exalt his self above God and was thrown out of heaven a third of the heavenly host fell with him (demons). Angels serve God and demons serve Satan. And yes a person could be harmed by demons but instead of being concerned with that, keep your heart, eyes and ears focused on Jesus because he is our protection from Satan and his demons who would do us harm. Remember Ephesians 5:9-12 we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and high places. But you read any verse in Psalms and you will see that we are not to fear Satan nor his devices, because all power lies in the Father and the Son and in the name of Jesus all demons will flee and every knee will bow. Yes there are demons. The Bible says so.
Yes there are people who serve them. The Bible talks of idol worshippers, etc.. all these come under satan's lies and deception. Not Godly
Yes they can harm us. Demons have powers. Satan has powers. Not as powerful as God, as he is already defeated. Satan is after all a fallen angel. But he does have power

Ephesians 6:12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places

Demons are from satan, but we are of God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit and by His name and authority, all demons will flee.

Mark 16:17
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

Luke 10:19
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Yes. The Bible makes it clear that Demons do exist. Jesus Himself cast demons out of people. There is Satan, and his fallen angels. They are the demons. They are out to destroy whoever they can. We must live our life close too God. If you are saved, you cannot get demon possessed. But if you mess with evil, you can open the door to allow Satan to mess up your mind.

Yes there are demons and they fight the engels for our souls.
yes there are thos humans who do worsip the demons.
yes, some humans practce forms of witchcraft and ask demons to physically harm other humans. any form of power that humans tapp into other than power from the holy spirit is witchcraft regardless of what anyone says. even psycics are a form of witch.

In New Testament, Legion was mentioned and was casted out by Jesus... and as a Roman Catholic, we despise Satan in a ritual as part of our acceptance of Jesus as our guide to God and Jesus as our Savior.

There are people who uses a Cult and served Satan and thereby mingles with the spirit of the Demons.

They could harm as well as they could protect. With their acquired and learned power, they associates themselves among the secret cults and could render helplessness among the weak and be of command.

angels and demons are both real, the hollywood idea of demons is off though, if you read Job, you see Satan coming before God and asking permission to test Job, the forces of evil aren't as powerful, chaotic or dominant as hollywood would have us believe.
