i believe that the gov. played a part in 911. think about it. the bush administration used it as an excuse to go to war with iraq, they used it as an excuse to create laws that go against the constitution (the patriot act and phone tapping), and they used it as an excuse to lie to the public. They can do whatever now.

Hello My Friend. Finally , a real American .What baffles me as much as anything is that "Dubya" was voted into office again. I've even asked a question on "Ask The Planet" looking for answers to simple questions. The first election was rigged. An elementary school child could spot that cheating and yet it stood. Why anyone in their right mind would vote for a known cheater is obserd. Let us also not forget that the man couldn't run a small business ( three of them ) but yet Americans thought he'd do better as president ! Amazing ! I lost a very good friend over an arguement just after Bush was elected the first time. Mt contention was that this person was going to ruin this country.Does anyone remember the Enron episode ? Points on the 9-11 murders : Condelizza Rice warning people not to fly on sept. 11 , planes that weren't civilian as we were told ( see:Loose Change ) , melting steel...from jet fuel ? Jet fuel can't get hot enough to melt steel and certainly couldn't pulverize those buildings. An odd thought just came to me...."if two planes could distroy an entire New York city block by fire , then what type of fuel did the Pentagon plane use. The building was damaged but not distroyed. Then theres the fact that the damage to the Pentagon was inconsistent with an airplane because the hole was too small. Some other references for you to check out are : Loose Change , Truth.org, Prison Planet , The 9-11 "omission report", Farenheit 9-11 and if you don't believe that the Bush family are demonic and their involvement in evil would make Adolph Hitler look like a wimp , check out : JFK II-The Bush Connection". Theres much more....just ask.

Although I think you are in the wrong category I would like to comment on this.
First of all, follow the money. There is big money to be made in promoting conspiracy theories. Whether that is directly by selling books or videos or other goods or by selling advertizing on websites, tv, radio, magazines, or by giving speeches, seminars, etc. If it weren't making money for them, they would stop it and go on to something else like selling swampland in Florida. Scam artists have been operating forever and they are not about to stop now. As PT Barnum is quoted as saying "There is a sucker born every minute."
With that being said, I do think that there was a desire on the part of the US Government to have something happen, but I don't think they had any part in making it happen. In it's report, "Rebuilding America's Defenses", the Project for a New American Century, headed then by a group of neo-cons, said that a new "Pear Harbor" (their words) was needed to spur the beginning of actions.
So, although the US Government did not plan or promulgate the attacks on 9/11. They certainly benefited from them and used them as the "Pearl Harbor" they were looking for. In my opinion the terrorists walked right into the hands of the neo-con cronies, setting them up for a justification to do exactly what they had already intended to do.
Also in January of 2005 they wrote a letter to the US Congress calling for an increase in troops of 25,000 per year for the "next few years" (their words). So if they get what they want it looks like we are in for more of the same.
Peace and Blessings,
Salim

The truth probably the common man will never know, as people have sick minds in the world today regardless of what place they from.
Many believe 9/11 was an american conspiracy, others don't believe their government would kill innocent people, but then again what did they do in Iraq?
So either way this questioon will never be answered.

i don't believe that for a minute. that crap i just watched from July 25th 2001 was probably recorded after that. what does it matter anyway? if it's your time to go-it's your time to go.how many people have died in car wrecks? is that the us governments fault too?i realize one was planned and one was not, but still. i don't agree with what happened at all. i was just as tripped out as the next person, but i hardly think our government did it. why would they want to? how many videos have you seen with osama, and you still want to blame the us? i guess you hate the phone tapping too. see me--i have nothing to hide, so they can record anything they want. the people that get mad at that are those who have something to hide. forget the fact that they are invading your privacy, who cares, as long as they are doing EVERYTHING they can to protect this country. if that's part of it then so be it.

Old Military Hardware should be dispose of and should build a new weaponry.
There is a lot of money in the Military Hardware making.
Republican and Democrats have their way of saying 'thank you' to each other.
Oil...oil... oil...
Is this reason enough? in a way, but it was the bureaucratic system that was at fault as of what i have known, that 9/11 was a success.

Without commenting on the validity (or lack thereof) of any of those theories, if people were to believe such things, they'd lose what little faith they have left in their government. The psychological aftermath of that would be rather scary. People, in general, are willing to turn a blind eye to a number of things if doing so offers them a modicum of perceived comfort.

You have been going to the Conspiracy websites again and getting garbage from them.
