i know a pastor with two tattoos of crosses and scripture... is this wrong of him?

He may have had the tattoo before he became Christian. If God can wipe away our sins, I am sure theses tattoos won't be any big deal to Him. I think God will look more at the heart than the letter of the law. Plus we are under a new covenant since our Jesus came to save us. Amen!

According to the Bible they are. But sanitary conditions were alot different back then than they are now.
Personally I don't see anything wrong with tattoos as long as they aren't offensive and they're something you really want to wear for the rest of your life. The removal is very costly if you change your mind down the road.

All God-fearing religions forbid tattoos because it is a form of idolatry and self-mutilation.
I do have tattoos on my arms but upon my conversion to Islam, I promised not to add anymore tattoos on my body.

I know Baptists who say that tattoos are a sin and that they glorify a secret life with the devil.

For one when you get old it sags, needles hurt being jabbed into that many times, and our bodies are like temples of god we were made in his image we should keep ourselves clean.

not wrong...but definately not unique... if you want to be unique then dont get one.... more ppl have them than dont....kinda sad really....it was such a lovely art form!
pastors are ppl to...and depending on your religion it could be a sin to deface your body.... i would read up on it more if your concerned!!
