a friend is someone who you get along with great and who sticks by you no matter what. they will stand up for you and be loyal to you and, very rarely, will die to protect you. that is a friend regardless of what the world thinks.

I'm not up on the bible as I should be but what a friend is to me is someone I can always feel comfortable around and know that my "friend" is there and no questions asked and will never judge anything I say or do.
I friend is a gift from God so I know I'm never alone no matter what.

A friend is someone who will be there for you. Someone who will not just offer a shoulder to cry on but will cry along with you. A friend treats your family as his/her own. A friend is someone whom you can trust and impart a part of your life.

according to John 15:13 i think a good freind is the one who is with you all the times i.e. in time the time of sorrows and happiness. the one who can give whatever he/she has on your behalf.
