As we tell that if anything including good or bad, it is happening on the basis of KARMA, means why we have to worry about the day to day happenings and we have to do any work ?

A Very Intelligent Question Indeed
First: Karma is not EVERYTHING...
Out of the 5 subject matter in Bhagavad Gita: God, Living Entity, Nature, Time and Karma.. The Other 4 are said to be eternal where as Karma is Temporary and can be fully destroyed...
Karma means 2 things - Reaction of Work and Work it self (depending on the context)... So here Reaction of Work is said to be temporary...
But Work or activity is not temporary... We are Souls and the nature of Soul is Active..
You may think that Sleeping is not activity, but thats not correct.. The Soul is repairing the Body in the night so that it is full of energy to use it as the day starts...
Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita regarding this that
" Not by merely abstaining from work can one achieve freedom from reaction, nor by renunciation alone can one attain perfection." "Everyone is forced to act helplessly according to the qualities he has acquired from the modes of material nature; therefore no one can refrain from doing something, not even for a moment." (BG 3.4, 3.5).
In fact Krishna encourages us to work stating.. "Perform your prescribed duty, for doing so is better than not working. One cannot even maintain one’s physical body without work." (BG 3.8)
Every Soul is seeking for Happiness and hence we work in various ways, including searching for God..
Yes, good and bad happenings day to day are based on your Past Karma and also on Present Karma. Krishna says one should not worry about it. You agree with the same..
Human Life is meant to work for getting rid of this unnecessary Material Existence, which is cause of so much suffering. There is a Spiritual Existence in Vaikuntha (Kingdom of God).
And by performing ones Prescribed Duty as Given by God himself, one becomes Purified and qualified to go back to God and live an eternal life full of Knowledge and Bliss..

While working on the Prescribed Duties, on must have patience and learn to be Equipoised in Good or Bad happening to him, with the understanding that they are results of his own activities in the past.. Thus working in service of God one is sure to attain Success..
For more information on Karma, I recommend you to read Bhagavad Gita As It Is.. Especially the Third Chapter gives the basics ..

Even within Asia, where the concept of karma has a long history and has been incorporated in a wide range of cultures, it is often misunderstood. Viewed from a negative, backward-looking perspective, karma has been used to encourage the disadvantaged members of society to accept their situation in life as being of their own making.
Present suffering is attributed to negative causes made in the past.

Considering themselves to blame for their situation, some people have fallen prey to a sense of powerlessness. This is, however, a distortion of the original meaning of karma as it is used in the Buddhist tradition. To accept the idea of karma does not mean to live under a cloud of guilt and vague anxiety, not knowing what bad causes we may have made in the past. Rather, it means to be confident that our destiny is in our own hands and that we have the power to transform it for the better at any moment.
In the simplest terms, karma, which means actions, indicates the universal operation of a principle of causation, similar to that upheld by modern science.

Science assures us that everything in the universe exists within the framework of cause and effect. "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction," is a familiar principle. The difference between the materialistic causality of science and the Buddhist principle of karma is that the latter is not limited to those things that can be seen or measured. Rather, it includes the unseen or spiritual aspects of life, such as the sensation or experience of happiness or misery, kindness or cruelty.

As one of the ancient Buddhist texts states: "If you want to understand the causes that existed in the past, look at the results as they are manifested in the present. And if you want to understand what results will be manifested in the future, look at the causes that exist in the present."

I'm a Buddhist and we believe in good and bad karma. We create our own present and future by the choices we make in each moment. Understood in this light, the teaching of karma does not encourage resignation, but empowers us to become the protagonists in the unfolding drama of our lives.

Man is an architect of his destiny. For every action there is a reaction. The chain of karma is anadi (beginningless), means you cannot trace it back. The law of karma is very complicated, but it is perfectly just. Good or bad karma - it is still karma. You have to be born again and again to suffer or enjoy the fruits of your work. You cannot untie the knot of karma. You can just sever it with the weapon of transcendental knowledge, devotional service and surrender to God.

You can choose between bad Karma and good.
When you have an opportunity to mistreat someone, or kick a dog, or whatever; You can decide not to do so. That is good Karma. It's pretty much "what comes around goes around".
You choose what you want returned to you in this life or the next.

karma is an equilibrium or balance concept. if you accept this matter then for every good ther will be a bad, and in reverse... there wouldnt be anything that is going to be good forever without any bad factor.. then its not a balance concept.. whether we realize it or not. your bad will contribute to the good, and your good will contribute to the bad.. so both its good to maintain balance... nature will create balance in it self, were just part of tiny factor...out of this infinite universe.. so just do what u gotta do, everything else will balance out accordingly... whether you re still breathing or dead..
