Please! No misunderstandings. I am simply making a point here. If such a non believer were to believe in Satan they are subject to and must be open to the fact that God exists. Since Satan is one of God's fallen angels...how can one believe in one without knowing the other exists?

Satan is the evil twin of the Easter Bunny...Fortunately the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch took care of him in scene 28.

Aside from the good points others have made about Satanists...

Aside from LaVey's Church of Satan, which is what is normally referenced whe people refer to Satanism in America, there are also various Luciferian groups around the world. Luciferian Satanists believe that Lucifer's rebellion against God worked much in the same way eating the fruit in the Garden did; it made him truly self-aware, and Luciferians tend to be close to Gnostics in that they "worship" knowledge and freedom of will among other things. It's not necessarily that they are turning their backs on God; they simply prefer the concept of free will to the Christian dogma that one must die and be born again, in the process laying down their will and handing it over to God. (The best place to get a handle on the Luciferian viewpoint is probably Milton's Paradise Lost.)

Hey your Question makes good sense and reason, my answer is this unless you know and understand what the bible has to say, one will not know anything people (some) tend to form their own opinions and views, BUT when you read and come to understand regardless of our own feeling ect... Then and only then will a person be able to makes sense of life your question ect... It would make sense to believe that there is a God and their is a Devil and God has a son, Many believe many don't. It is what it is, take care

only if they believe in a christian Satan, they could believe in another religions Satan or Satan as a stand alone entity.
Interestingly God said to te Jew you will no other god before me and generally bad mouths Baal does that mean Baal is another god recognised by the christian god. At no time did the Christan god say he was the only one

I do not believe in either satan or god. I do believe in the many facets that Deity has. Both male and female. I also believe in good and bad, right and wrong, light and dark. There has to be a balance in nature.

Satanists do believe in God. They just rebel because they don't agree with God. Actually if you check out the American Church of Satan you will see that it is not even really God they rebel against or disagree with. They just disagree with the Christianized God which dominates our society as the most popular faith.

That's why the vast majority of atheists don't believe in satan either. Go figure. You realize that you've spammed up the boards with 3 questions that could very easily have been made into one question, using that nifty little "additional details" button. Use it.

because satan makes sure the non-believer doesn't know that. he hides himself in many ways, to the new agers, he is lucifer the light bringer, the anointed cherub who was the first "god" to make contact with humans in the garden of eden in the form of a serpent. sound familiar? see how clever and cunning he can be? he even uses the bible!! you see, he is the truth and the light not Christ and still new agers believe that he is god along with themselves as being gods. they don't see him as the fallen one who will bring them all to hell with him if they don't repent and turn to Christ.

atheism
(ā´thē-ĭz´´m) , denial of the existence of God or gods and of any supernatural existence. That mean satan. No Atheist can believe in satan. That would mean they were not Atheist.
