In biblical times, it can be argued that abortion was practiced without censure.

In the Bible this scripture Leviticus 24:3-7 indicates that the lives of children were not valued as highly as those of an adult, while no value whatsoever was given to any child under the age of one month. There is no indication that a fetus had any status either. So it was assumed until the child was 1 month outside of the womb, it had no status.

(Hey, I didn't write it. So don't judge me. It's in the Bible)

A key text for examining ancient Israelite attitudes is

Exodus 21:22-25:"When people who are fighting injury a pregnant woman, resulting in miscarriage, & no other harm was caused to the woman. The one responsible must be fined to pay the husband or as a judged determines, only if the woman was injured."

It's in the Bible. You can argue it. But either you believe in the bible or you don't.

To assume that an abortionist automatically goes to hell, is placing your own salvation in question. Judging is God's job, & no one elses.

Whether an abortionist kills 1 or 1 million, you or anyone can not pass judgement on them. This question is very judgemental. As a Christian, you know that judging is not your place.....

In addition, Jesus hung on the cross next to a confessed murderer and He told him that he would be in Heaven that very day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In God's eyes a life is a life no matter how old it is. God granted life at the moment of conception. If a fetus is naturally still born then it died naturally in the womb. For a fetus to be still born it had to be alive to start with.
Murder is murder no matter how rich, poor, of what age or gender or race you are.
One must ask themselves. At what moment in time did I become a human being? When did I receive my right to life?
A fetus in the womb can remember music, dance to the beat, has a heart that pumps it's own blood, can feel pain. It has it's own personality. It is a viable human.

Luke 17:1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

Truthfully, not necessarily.

Yes abortion is an atrocity and an abomination in the eyes of God and first degree murder of the most vulnerable and innocent of the human race. It is an heinous sin and deserves punishment. However GOD is All MERCIFUL and loves all of us unconditionally. He reads the heart, so even if someone has committed this terrible sin, if they have confessed and repented of it with sorrow in their heart, God will see that and forget the sin.

Remember what Jesus said about the tax collector in the back of the synagogue beating his heart and begging God's mercy for his sins while the pharisee in the Front row was thanking God for making him a better person than the other guy. Jesus said, "Verily I say to you, this tax collector will enter heaven before the pharisee."
And remember the Good Thief on the cross beside Jesus. The other thief taunted Jesus, but the Good Thief said "Lord, remember me when you enter your Kingdom." And Jesus replied, "Verily I say to you, you shall be with me in Heaven today." Why? Because the sinner asked forgiveness. Sin is sin. It is all disgusting to God and God cannot coincide with sin. That is why an unrepented sinner cannot go to heaven, but if he repents and asks God for mercy, the sin is forgotten no matter how bad it was.

So you see, an abortionist , whether he kills 1 or 1000 babies, if he does not repent on each count he will not be forgiven , but if he does he is forgiven.

I think it is a tough question.
But there is a tougher question to ask.
Does a male masturbater automatically goes to hell?
Does it depend on how much spermatozoids has a man wasted? What is the level of punishment for a man who has masturbated 500,000 times as opposed to 10?
Also what about menstruation?
Should a woman be punished with eternal damnation for wasting all these eggs?

P.S.
1. Think about it, Say a wife is ovulating, but a husband instead of having sex with her, jerks off. Egg never gets fertilized and is menstruated away. Sperm cells that husband has spilled on a napkin and flushed -- all drown. A child that could have been conceived is lost. Husband and wife jointly destroyed a matter that could have become a baby. Murder?

2. Congratulation to you to as you have successfully equated murdering people with removing a clump of 32 cells. I mean abortion within first 3 days of conception is still abortion.

It's entirely up to the individual who faces God and how they respond to God's love. No one person , no church doctrine, no bible interpretation, nothing at all on this earth has the authority to send someone to hell. God doesn't even do it. People send themselves to hell.

Heb. 12:29 - God is a consuming fire (of love in heaven, of purgation in purgatory, or of suffering and damnation in hell).

When you are faced with God's love, you are faced with your own sins. Not all sins will kill your soul.

No one knows where he would go, first of all, because that is God's determination, not ours. The Catholic Church has not (to my knowledge) even stated that Judas is in hell (or anyone else, except the devil and other fallen angels who are there - or will be - by definition). All we say is that those committing a mortal sin place themselves in danger of hellfire, if it is unrepented-of. That's nothing more than what the Apostle Paul does, in a number of passages http://socrates58.blogspot.com/2006/04/mortal-venial-sin-garden-variety.html

Not automatically, but I believe God does view them as a murderer -- how could someone kill unborn babies as their profession? How is this any different than the Nazis who gassed the Jews? Both are murdering human beings and seemingly lack any conscience for the lives they're destroying.

However, people can repent or turn from sin and if they confess with their mouth and believe in their heart that Jesus is the Christ than they will be saved. This goes for everyone, even abortionists.

Probably not. An abortionist is just a line of work, not who the person really is. Its not like they kill people off of the job or anything. Although I am a strict believer in the Catholic religion, I do believe that in some situations, abortions are called for. But that "some" is a very small number.

I'm sure you have heard some of these verses, but just in case you haven't, I will answer your question with the Bible:

John 3:16 God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so whoever believed in Him shall not be lost, but have eternal life.

John 5:29 Then they will come out of their graves. Those who did good will rise and have life forever, but those who did evil will rise to be judged guilty.

The Bible also states many times that Jesus will be the judge of mankind. The laws of the Bible are also listed to help us know the difference between good and evil.

First off we are not God and can not tell who is going to hell and who isn't. The bible says in so many words that a tiny white lie will take u to hell just as fast as murdering some poor soul. Now thats bible look it up Thank You Grandma Rosey

again - a question like this infers a misunderstanding of what sin is
the simpllest answer to this question is that no sin is unforgivable so long as the sinner is repentant and TURNS from his sin and accepts Jesus as his saviour and endeavours to SIN NO MORE.
that doesn't mean, however, that the person who is forgiven by God does not have to face prosecution according to the laws of the land (in any crime)
