I don't see them jumping up and down and picketing for other criminal behavior. Sure, abortion is murder, but don't you find a severe ethical dilemma in believing all sin is the same in the eyes of God and no matter what horrifying destruction you cause for how many different people, all that matters in the end is if you believe in a baby Jesus? What?

Christians don't "jump up and down" for other criminal behavior, because, everyone knows that it is criminal behavior. If someone kills a child. No one needs to tell you that is wrong. But kill a fetus, people think that is okay. We picket to let people understand that it is wrong. Some people don't know. What about partial birth abortion, do you think that pulling a 7 or 8 month old fetus out of the womb and slicing its head and the doctor holding it until it dies, is okay. Abortion is legal up to 3 months 12 weeks. At 9 weeks they can tell if you are having a boy or a girl. At 9 days the embryo has blood circulation, umbilical cord, a head and intestine. At 4 to 5 weeks eyes a nervous system, heart, mouth, arm buds and leg buds.

God looks at all sin as sin. While this sin is murder, it is still sin and God will forgive. Jesus died on the cross for our sins. We as Christians need to help people to understand that this is murder and it needs to be stopped. We know it's wrong with out even believing in God. Our very being tells us it is wrong. We believe in God and His Word tells us what is right and wrong and we must inform the unbelieving world the truth.

Abortion is LEGALIZED and other criminal behavior isn't. There is no penalty what so ever for abortion... its totally legal and there is what seperates a regular criminal act from abortion.

Personally, I have a hard time though thinking that God believes all sin is just sin, there must be some level of degree of punishment. I know that all sin is none the less sin and that we still need a savior. However I think judgement and punishment while here on earth for our actions is just to the crime we committed.

Obviously a person who murders isn't going to recieve the same lesson here on Earth as such a gossiper would...

You are correct in saying that all sins are the same. All sins are sins--that's obvious. But not all sins are equal in terms of their weighiness. If you read the books of Exodous, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, you will find that some crimes have harsher punishments than other crimes do. Murder for instance requires life, while stealing requires restitution. The punishment must be worthy of the crime. This is justice. Life is more valuable than property.

The reason that Christians make such a big deal about sin is that many people don't see it as murder. When a person takes the life of an unborn child they are essentially killing a person, and the crime goes unpunished. To Christians, this is an outrage, so they rise up about it.

HAhaha... You're gonna get alotta "God bless you"'s and "I'm Praying for you"'s over this.

The Truth is... The Christian theology is maluable. You can bend or distory aspects of it to make modern inturpritation of scripture fit your theology. And at the end of they day all you need to say is "The mysteries of god are endless."

I'll ask you this. Since Jesus Christ is the most important and influential being to have ever lived on this earth, Who would be the second? I Solidly believe that Adam was a VERY close second. Where Jesus ushered in Salvation from death, Adam Ushered in Death! How great could salvation be if there never was a death?

Chrsitianity will tell you that Adam was the plight of the earth, and that he screwed everyone, and made Jesus nessesary. How is that possible? How could Man ever distort Gods plan? How could you call Jesus the Great and Everlasting Back-up?

Adam did what he had to do to save the people of this planet (even if it was a little backwards), making it possible for man to die, and through the later efforts and anuish of Christ, RETURN to our father in heaven! (I say Return literally.)

So what im saying is... Christian Theology is like a block of swiss Cheese. It's just the people with the real answers are too busy NOT holding lectures on other faiths for better "witnessing", and NOT spending millions of dollars to find new ways of saying "You're going to hell!". They people with the True answers are busing telling the world Salvation is available to ALL! And ALL means ALL! Damnit!

You know, not all sins are the same. It's a shame some think that.

Adamic sins are handle with a 'table prayer,' so to speak.

Sins involving a fellow human,-----God requires retribution along with the correct heart condition.

Sins like abortion, which is murder, fornication, murder, and other serious offenses requires a lot to retain Gods forgiveness. There is quite a bit to this, but I have to leave. Hope this helps somewhat.

The unborn child has no voice - the killing of such is the same as any other killing. A fetus nerve endings are formed by the end of the 6th week and can feel pain. Can you imagine, the pain it suffers during abortion?

Furthermore, if murder is a sin, then why is George Bush the guy who oversaw more capital punishments in the history of Texas than any other Govenor???

Or, why do anti-abortion people kill abortion doctors? Does that make sense??? KILLING IS WRONG< SO IM GONNA KILL YOU TO PROVE IT! Idiots....

Christians do not make a big deal about abortion, it IS a big deal. An innocent human life is being snuffed out without a trial. Babies are not criminals. They are sinners like the rest of us, but they are not criminals.

no thats not true-believing in a kid named jesus will not save you.
You must believe that Jesus died for your sins. and about abortion-well god loves every person from the not even born baby-to the ancient grandpa-from the unbelieving athiests, to the christians.
kk lemme put it like this-you have these hamsters-a boy and a girl, and they have babies, but as soon as the baby hamster is born, the daddy hamster kills it. and this happens alot. doesn't this make you sad?

Most Christians do not believe that all sin is the same. That is a Protestant construction.
