I'm quite new to this website, and the topic that comes the most is religion and too narrow down even more it;s mostly about Christianity. Is it because Christians think they can just preach about God and sins behind the computer screen? I personally think a lot of religions are for some insecure(not all) people who need something to hold onto so they use a religion. For instance as some say,'Jesus is my rock'. Religon has caused the worst things in mankind to happen, if you look back at many wars, terrorism and so on, it all comes down to religon. Is religion the worst thing humans have created? Have your say. What do you think??

What exactly is Geniism, & where can I get a good site on Geniism? Whenever I do a google search on it, practically all the sites I get are on Cao Daism.

Are there any sites with info on Geniism without them being on Cao Daism?

This book was written 200 years ago. T. Paine analyses the Bible and literally destroys it. His argument and conclusions are so good they are almost impossible to dispute.

Fantastic book well worth the read. Only 74 pages.

If so, would that be why all religious (not secular as the Turks) Muslims want to destroy Israel and believe Jews are some sort of inferior race?

Do you think God has different laws for different denominations? The answer is no. We all have to live by His word. Don't get caught up in mans laws. Join together to give God all the glory!!

I am thinking about the concept that it was o.k. to do what you liked with your body because it did not affect your soul.

We already say no to smoking.
We already say no to gambling.
We already say no to excess alcohol.

That doesn’t mean that people who smoke, gamble or drink are bad people, it’s just that their habit can be destructive.

Similarly with religion, it has a track record of destruction, violence, hatred, evil, killings and murder since humanity began. Yes there are also nice religious people, but is it time to say no to religion, for the better good of all humanity.

I believe in God.
I believe in Jesus.

I also believe in Evolution Theory.
I believe that SPECIATION is the reason why their is diversity among members of the human sub-species: Blacks, Whites, Asians Mongoloids, Oriental variations between Japanese, Chinese, Koreans, etc.
I believe gene mutations and natural selection have also aided in species diversity

I think people who make it seem as if A Person must believe in everything the Bible says OR believe in Evolution are RETARDED and closed minded.

Most of the stories in the bible such as Adam and Eve and the creation story are PARABLES. Jesus used parables to teach his followers a theme - not to force a belief on them. Jesus never FORCED anyone to follow him...he merely presented them with faith.

Many people argue that Evolution is junk science because it can't be proven in a lab...(it would take millions of years).
WELL GUESS WHAT...YOU CAN'T PROVE GOD EXISTS EITHER !!!

As a Christian, I'm not hateful of others. Non-Christians who have met me respect my beliefs as I respect theirs. I don't condemn gays even though I disagree with their lifestyle.

Just because I believe in the Bible doesn't make me hateful or stupid.

I came across someone asking "Was Jesus the son of God?" I answered "I don't believe so." I was honest, very polite, I didn't even say "no" flatout, just that, as far as my beliefs go, I don't believe Jesus was the son of a god.

Within five seconds, I had two "thumbs down".

Why do you think this is?

Seems like a strange thing that God would put the yearning into our hearts to live forever and then make us where we only live less than a hundred years. I love this earth and the life God gave me. I want to live here forever.
