why pray only through prayer u can draw close to the lord .....to draw closest to the lord is to speak through tongues where satan cannot interpret this is the holy ghost talking in a hidden code only god knows.....i started speaking in tongues when a preacher laid hands on my head and i started speaking them out of nowhere very clearly....pray because this is a cleansing of the soul and we are giving time out of our life to have a relationship with god...now in the bible says that to use vain repitions which means saying the same thing over and over again is not the best way to pray....when praying do not sound a trumpet..for those who do they have their reward ......why pray because this is the only way to draw closer to the lord....

If you don't ask, you can't recieve. God will only help out when it's in your best interest or in the best interest of everyone. But, if you don't ask, you can't recieve.

God wants to interact with us. He wants us to devote part of our daily lives to Him. Praying is the best way. It's also a good, daily way to praise Him for all that He does, all those answered prayers.

Prayer isn't a wish list or a honey do list for God. The main purpose is to conform the believer to God's will for His life... When that happens all prayers are answered...Jim
