The point is actually summarized at the end of the chapter. You should keep reading. Hopefully you've also read the beginning, but I'm guessing you just copies this one passage so that others would read it and find it offensive because it's not in context.

Eze 23:20 For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh [is as] the flesh of asses, and whose issue [is like] the issue of horses. KJv .. i don't know what version of scriptures ya got there. but either way..pretty gross. Babylon ..Sodom.. Gomarrah.. destroyed for challenging what God said we may do and what we may not do. Babylon was into perversions of truth ... ie: looking with lust and not love.
Eze 23:19 Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt. .. Remember that it is in Egypt that menkind were first begun. Then God caused them to multiply .. and to spread out over the lands.

I am sure scholars have a different view of what this all means..but to me it seems that Ezekial is seeing ( visions ) of the bride busy going about ruining herself and others.

Eze 23:30 I will do these [things] unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, [and] because thou art polluted with their idols. ... the bride was busy leading others into sin and abominations. Jesus said we are not allowed to do such a terrible thing to others. ( remember the term backslidden bride )

God teaches us in parables as we can grasp it as we move along in life..growing up.

It is called "hyperbole".

Chapter 23 of Ezekiel is an allegory where God is comparing the nation of Israel to two whores. God is implying that Israel's spiritual unfaithfulness to the one God is similar to physical infidelity between husband & wife (It is a common theme in the Jewish scriptures to compare the spiritual wandering (I.E.: worshiping other gods) of God's chosen, with the sin of adultery.).

Ezekiel seems to be trying to be rather graphic here in order to drive home his point. Hes seems to be trying to imply that spiritual unfaithfulness to Israel's God is just as gross & sick as having sex with animals.

Or maybe God just has a sense of humor.

It's clearly a parable of Israel(Northern and Southern Israel) the two sisters. They made alliances with Assyria and Egypt out of jealousy and greed. This act disgusted God as you can see with the atmosphere of the chapter.
