I notice a question mark at the end.I'm going to take it that you are asking if they think this to be a true statement.
No one is stupid. We all have a reason for what we believe or don't be live.
Calling some one a name is not the way to communicate how you fell. Do you see how many walls are put up now, because of the other answers you have received? Wise as a serpent, gentle as a dove. You will catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

I don't see a question...and you don't need to be rude to those you disagree with.
Maybe you should ask, how can you say there is no God? Isn't love, nature, babies, etc. proof? That's what I'm wondering. Something had to start it all, even if it was just dust, it wasn't just 'there.'

And I love how I just got some negative ratings yet no one responds to my point.

Oh, edit that: someone sent me an e-mail asking me if something had to start it all, where did God come from? I'll paraphrase my answer: God is not a human, a he or a she. God is God and cannot be understood by us. God is above and beyond our comprehension. Without a God, and it may not be the 'all ruling and powerful God' most people view it as, nothing would exist. There had to have been a creator. Without a God, death means you are buried and forgotten. Your life is meaningless.

You may not believe the teachings of any particular religion, but without a belief in a creator, there is no belief in yourself. You cannot exist without having been created. God is and always will be.

Stupid depends on what you are comparing it against....
It is perception.

Perceptions are imaginary judgments of a constantly changing conditional reality.

Judge not, less you be judged.

President Bush would likely agree with you. Attacked is a quote from him, with an important article from a Baptist church regarding atheists.
