According to the Bible, yes. That is, yes gay sex is a sin, but so are all other sins. We are not required to become perfect when we become Christian, but we should become more Christ-like as we progress. Which should eventually lead to one give up a life of sin as much as possible. All that is necessary in order to get to heaven is to believe Jesus died for your sins, and defeated death.

Practicing Gay? Is that anything like a practicing Catholic? Do you take gay communion?
Eh, I don't see why not. There is no list of things you can't be written anywhere. Matter of fact, the only place that condemns homosexuality in the Bible was the same book that also condemns pork and tattoos. So, I guess the real question would be, if you eat bacon and get "MOM" inked on your right arm, can you stuill go to heaven?

Nope, but not because their gay - but because heaven is made up.
On the (very) off chance, that heaven is real and christianity is true. Why would you even want to goto a heaven that practices discrimination. If this is the situation, and I ever meet Jesus/God I will spit in his face for having the ethics of Machiavelli.... Luckily, it's pretty evident that Christianity and all organized religions are made up so I don't have to worry about it and either should you....

Who on this earth has the right to tell you that you aren't going to heaven because you are gay? No one! Because the Bible says not to judge, and it say to love! Doesn't it!
I only way that anyone is going to get through those pearly gates, is to believe that Jesus Christ is their Lord and savior and that he died for our sins. That you asked him into your heart!
I have a lot of gay friends, and we are going to have the biggest old party up in heaven one day, it's going to be "I told you so" themed. Want to come?
God bless us all................

Yes. There are many scholars who believe that the Bible was wrongly translated. And besides, as long as you're a good person and follow the teaching of Jesus Christ, yes you will go to Heaven.

The hard-line christians will tell you no, because of the "you will not lie with a man as you lie with a woman" thing. But, I think that's pretty much between you and God. If you believe and ask for his forgiveness and whatnot, you should be good to go.

Can Superman really fly around the world fast enough to make time go backwards? That's the more important question.

You're going to get Baptist folks riled up. See the attached article from a Baptist minister about being gay.

Depends.
Does that person realize that being "gay" is a sin? Has he honestly gone to God and confessed? Is he truly working to get the sin out of his life? Does he realize that Jesus can truly help him to do this?
Could ANY sinner die, do you think, with unresolved sin in his life, and still go to heaven, as long as s/he was truly repentant, and working to get rid of it? A kleptomaniac, for instance, truly repentant, getting help, praying every day for help to overcome his sin, gets hit by a car on his way home from WalMart with his latest purloined trinket in his pocket...is he going to heaven?
On the other hand, remember what Jesus said to Peter, when he inquired as to the eventual fate of another Christian...his will for that person, He told Peter, was none of his business. "What I say to you, I say to all. Follow Me..."
If someone who is struggling to overcome a gay background, and asks for help, by all means give it to them. Otherwise, if that person is a Christian...butt out! (pun intended)

Sure, God welcomes all those who love Him. Being gay is who they are, its been around since the beginning of time. The gay thing is just another manmade law to fit their agenda. God created all of us and homosexuality is who they are, as long as they Love God and others, God will honor that.
