These "authorities" tell you to believe something is true because it was written in some book that they consider to be proof. Then, when you ask for better proof, they refer you to their books. They just want you to believe what they are saying because they have a book that supports their thoughts, and the more you buy into it, the more money they get. And you can't recreate anything from their books. They also ask you to believe them because they say so, and the rest of them say so too. Don't you see, they are controlling your mind and making you believe what they want you to believe! They have no tangible proof to the average person that what they claim would actually be true, and you can't just see it happening unless you learn to think like them, so they want you to believe what they claim to have done. They just want to control your mind, and get you to step in line with them. Welcome to the reality that you are being manipulated by "science" .

God will not be directly judging. All judgement has been handed to The Christ, Jesus.
God does not know what you are going to do, untill you do it.
The only problem is, is that God knows conciously before we do that we are going to do something.
Remember, before Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, there was no evil, and no sin.
And even evil is over rated, because the knowlege is the key, and difference between evil, and good.
We only know good and evil because we are taught, and some is given to common sense.
But I degress,
We have what is called free will.
We choose our path, and when we consciously accept and act on that choice, our subconsciouse knew, therefore God knew.

Granted, all things exist because God allows it .
We choose how, or what we will do in this life.
We will answer for this.
I have lived as a truckdriver, a homeless man, a retired man, an ex felon, ex husband, exalcoholic, now dying of emphesema, and lord knows what else.
The very things that are killing me, also have their uses and even life saving uses as well.
Depend how we use them.
But it all is by my choosing.
God knew I was going to make mistakes in my life.
Because of these mistakes, the knowledge from that tree of knowledge of good and evil causes my body to die.
But There was another tree in that garden.
The tree of life.
And God said " Let us remove man from the garden, lest he eats of the tree of life, and lives forever."
God gave us his only begotten son, through the holy spirit".
( Just like Adam, except this time, The spirit came by flesh, instead of just a breath.)
Jesus the Christ.
Because of this, I am shown that even though there was a tree, and a law because of that tree,
Now I have permission to eat of the tree, thet was denied Adam, so many years ago.

"out of all the billions of sources of light and possibly life, we're definately god's favourite"

or do you say...

Me and my brother have been talking alot about the bible and dinosaurs lately. He's really skeptical about the bible and there has to be logic behing everything and me on the other hand I'm more with Faith. But this one question of his has me stuck. I believe dinosaurs did roam the earth but then why are they not mentioned ANYWHERE in the bible!

11 Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection.
12 But I don't permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 Adam wasn't deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;
15 but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and sanctification with sobriety.
1 Timothy, chapter 2, verses 11 through 15

18 Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord."
That is Colosians, chapter three verse

Then, it turns around and says: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus"

Also, here is an online, searchable bible so you cant say that i took this out of context. The surrounding text isnt any better.

As a Christian, I find Kent Hovind's actions appalling; he claims that he's under God's Law and owes nothing to the feds.

What about the rest of us Christians that pay our taxes to the feds? Didn't Jesus say "Render unto Caesars' what belongs to him and render unto God whatever belongs to God?"

Mormon Poligamist's have been the most persecuted people in American history. That fact has never been recognized or dealt with. They were driven out of there homes, raped, murdered, and so much more.

I believe in prosecuting crimes such as statutory rape, molestation, fisical, and mental abuse. Such things do not happen in the majority of polygamist homes. We love our children and want them to be happy and want them to be able to choose for them selves which religeon is right for them.

It is not a crime for two consenting adults to live in this manner as long as they are not inflicting harm on anyone else.

I am a woman and I was raised in a polygamist home. I love my childhood and wouldnt trade it for the world. I love my parents (ALL of them) and my brothers and sisters ( ALL of them ). I am a adult now and I choose to live this way. I have not been forced, coerced, or abused.

Why is my religeon considered Illegal?

I mean seriously guys...one night when you are staring up at the stars why cant you just say to yourself that there obviously had to been someone to create them...It's not like anything could happen without the human mind reflecting in on itself and not being able to understand how naything that involves chance could happen without it. So seriously....The FSM knew what he was doin...he didn't just create stars but mountains, flowers and midgets. Be thankful.

I say the Southern Baptists and Methodists, with Catholics a close second. The Congregationalists, Mormons and Episcopalians seem better than average.

Every day Theists ask Atheists, "How did the Universe start from nothing?" There are people who go to school for years to learn how to learn about that, and all we've ever come up with is theories, and never anything definitive, so how can anyone give a credible answer in a yahoo answers box.

And everyday I see someone ask religious people who created God. Why? Do you honestly think someone is going to say - heh your right I guess I don't believe in God cause I can't answer that one.

Most of the people who are regular askers and answers are very smart.

Some, when you start asking the question, and it shows up as having been asked 600 times, don't ask it anymore, ok,

no one is ever going to give you a good answer about how they believe the world was created on accident, and no one is ever going to give you a good enough answers on who created god if you don't believe in god.

Why do people ask the wrong questions trying to score points of people who belief differently?

Did I just get a bunch of thumbs down for being a military wife for 9 yrs? Do you think military members WANT to be in the middle east? Sure there are some that do, but what about those who joined so they could support their families??

If it was just a bad answer, so be it, but really....I'd like to know if you blame the actual guys out there risking thier lives for you....do you blame them for the war??

I'd link the question, but apparently I'm doing it wrong, it didn't take.
