To the previous answer, Van Morrison is not dead. He's playing at the Austin City Limits Music Festival next month.
And I love Van Morrison. My dad used to play his albums for me when I was so little, I didn't even know what music was. He's just... such a huge influence on me and my music tastes. I love him. :)
