These "authorities" tell you to believe something is true because it was written in some book that they consider to be proof. Then, when you ask for better proof, they refer you to their books. They just want you to believe what they are saying because they have a book that supports their thoughts, and the more you buy into it, the more money they get. And you can't recreate anything from their books. They also ask you to believe them because they say so, and the rest of them say so too. Don't you see, they are controlling your mind and making you believe what they want you to believe! They have no tangible proof to the average person that what they claim would actually be true, and you can't just see it happening unless you learn to think like them, so they want you to believe what they claim to have done. They just want to control your mind, and get you to step in line with them. Welcome to the reality that you are being manipulated by "science" .

Brilliant. What a wonderful way to show that science today isn't exactly science. Science as a method is wonderful, science as a philosophy(naturalism) is controlling what people are told to believe.

What's in the science books can be verified independently though experiement. Science favors questioning--scientists work to disprove each other's theories all the time.

I thought you were talking about the christians and other believers of 'religions of the book' who say their book is right 'cause it says so and they believe it.

That's pretty funny, unfortunately many science experiments (at least the simple, cheap ones) are pretty easy to re-create.

that being said, I agree that manipulation comes from almost all sources of information in this world, (including a handful of religions) and that science and acedemia are certainly not imune to that. It's usually done through creative statistics (I took a stats class - believe me, stats are very easy to bend to your opinion).

You are right on and this is exactly what happens when you give your power away, it allows them to manipulate you to believe just about anything they want you to believe, my suggestion is take your power back and quit being manipulated and controlled, start using you own mind.

Perhaps you thought you were going to criticize Christians, but if that was your goal, you really made a great case against evoltion. When you said, "Then, when you ask for better proof, they refer you to their books." that sounds very much like the tactics of evolutionists. Good peice of writing, QUITE thought provoking.

I know what you are saying but do not Forget God is not Dead and the Holy Spirit still inspires writing, Man kind is still evolving into the Spirit God desires and writings are the way God has used over the years, we first need to understand God is still teaching and we must sift the chaff from the wheat.

The proof is spiritual and undeniable, but you're right in saying that it's not tangible, Doubting Thomas.

Faith is a higher level of learning. After the trial of ones faith they receive the evidence needed to confirm their beliefs.
