I say the Southern Baptists and Methodists, with Catholics a close second. The Congregationalists, Mormons and Episcopalians seem better than average.

Catholics are not a denomination.
Christianity is divided into 3 main groups - Protestants, Roman Catholics & Orthodox.
Each of these groups have denominations.
The Mormons are not a denomination either. It's considered a 'cult' by Christianity because it has teachings that directly contradict the Bible.
As for which denomination is worst...do you mean which is the strictest? Which has gotten the worst publicity or what? There are people/preachers who take things too far in each denomination.
It doesn't matter which denomination you're in.
What you get out of 'Christianity' only depends on your personal relationship with God.

Well it's not so much the denominations you need to worry about. Southern Baptists show no comparison to Charismatic Christians. Comes borderline to a cult. You should check them out.

and by the way, Latter Day Saints (Mormons) is not a Christian denomination because they do not consider Jesus to be the only Son of God, who died and was raised by God from the dead.

The word denomination comes from denominator, a mathimatics term indicating division. Is the body of Christ supposed to be divided or one? Are the arms supposed to judge the legs? Does it take a Buddhist to point this out?

Jews have suffered the most misery under the Roman Catholic Church. It has been only since Vatican II that Jews are no longer demonized.
Are you aware of Mel Gibson's version of Catholicism. He and his father have started their own Catholic Church which denies the changes made by Vatican II.

Charismatic Christians who if you miss a day of Church say you've backsled into the pits of hell and make you burn all of your secular cd's they're the worst!
